The owner of this site likes the PS lights but I'm not a big fan so I'm looking forward to this journal to see how they perform.
Are you planning on going full cycle or just cloning/veg with that light?

Two of the PS180 lights, on a light rail, in a 3x3?
With only 1w diodes I'd go with more/shorter plants if you want decent results.
I like comparison journals.
YMMV...

Actually, with 180 1w diodes you're not really using 180w each light but PS doesn't list the actual draw on their website so you'd have to put one on a "kill-a-watt" to see what the actual draw and w/sqft really is.

After doing some research it seems like the PS 180w illuminator actually draws about 155w but perhaps they've made some internal changes if you want to double check.
2 x 155w / 9sqft = 34.4w/sqft
You don't *HAVE* to use the whole 3x3 tent though. You could use 2x3 inside the 3x3 tent. That would give you ~51.7w/sqft. That might require some adjustments to your plan to prevent overcrowding but it is an option.
YMMV...
