Awesome Bro! Some good freebies too. If your gonna put those babies under the light make sure its really high. I dont usually start mine under the LED. Just a cheap flourecent. You also might want to look at the taller strains, (although you have plenty to choose from now) but the LEDs really keep them short. Happy Sprouting! h

So which ones are you gonna do? I think I would do the LH, and top them about a week before turning. Also whatever you put in the buckets is gonna grow faster, so if you did use different strains you might want to put the shorter ones in the buckets. Good Luck! h

Im doing one OG Kush and one Super Lemon Haze in a bubble bucket, then one of each in 3 gallon smart pots. Ive never done a bubble bucket before so I wanna see first hand the difference. I also have a bag of soil I wanna use up.

I also have a Green House Seeds Super Bud I started on Jan 28. Its in a bucket right now actually about 1 inch tall. It was a seed I had leftover from a previous order.

Got my light today! Unfortuntely when I set it up in my tent my closet was trapping to much heat so I moved it to a open room. The temp dropped but I can't get it below 83 degrees. I have a 4 inch Carbon Filter and 4 inch Inline Fan. Any ideas? I can buy a 6 inch fan I guess.

Heres some pics thing is a beast.

Well I got the temps down to 81. I think thats as low as I can go with a 4 inch inline fan. Ive never done a DWC...is that to hot?

How hot/cool is your intake air? I assume that you're drawing air *in* from the bottom and *out* from the top, right? Do you also have another fan inside to circulate the air inside the tent?

81 avg "room air temp" is fine, hopefully you're actually doing R-DWC and it has a large(ish) external reservoir to help keep nutrient temps down though. You might want to take that measurement too...

Disclaimer:
I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.

Hey thanks for the reply. I have a 4 inch Carbon filter on top with a associated 4 inch inline fan on top sucking air out. I have 2 fans actually in the tent now. One on the bottom and one small one I put on the lamp.

I guess its not to bad..81 82.

I will be only having 2 DWC buckets in there..no external reservoir..didnt think of that but I could get one I guess. Doing along side it 2 smart pot 3 gallons as well.

It could be where you have your thermometer. I have 2 thermometers and they both read different temps. Either way youll be fine, if anything the ones in the DWC will be able to handle the temps better than the dirty girls. The res temps need to be around 70 though, so keep an eye on them. If it gets too warm, they will have trouble with oxygen uptake.

You need to get either some cool air coming in, or exhaust your heat out. I exhaust mine into the living-room. In the winter the wife loves the heat, and in the summer, that room has the best air-conditioner. Give us more info, about your exhaust and intake system. h
