SS 400W + Scrog - From Brazil

Postby budweiser » Tue Jul 02, 2013 6:24 pm

Hi,
This is my second experience growing weed, first time with Leds. I would like to share this one with you and any tip or suggestion is more than welcome!

So here’s my setup:
Dark Room DR60 (60x60x120)
Circulation: 2 micro fans
Intake: Akasa 38 CFM
Outtake: 100 CFM Duct Fan + Carbon Filter
Soil: Sunshine Mix #6 (30%), Perlit (30%), Coconut Fiber (30%), Worm Cast (10%)
Nutes: Biogrow, Biobloom, Topmax, Epson Salt
Strains: Blues Cheese (Barneys), The Church (Greenhouse), Northern Lights (White Label)

I know my tent is a bit small for this panel yet I keep the door opened when lights are on so I manage to avoid extreme temps.
Right now girls are entering 5th week of 12/12 and I´ve just turned UVB on.
I´m keeping the panel 45cm from the canopy from the beginning. What should be the ideal distance considering my set-up?
Thanks everyone!
P.S.  I´m Brazilian so sorry for my bad English… swear I´ve tried my best! ;)

Welcome to the forums!
(Bienvenido)

I didn't know that CLW was shipping to Brazil; they are getting bigger! That is a lot of light for a 2x2 tent but you should get good results from that much light if you flower while the plants are still short. ;)

CLW suggest keep the light 18-24 inches (I'm metric challenged) above the canopy.

Thanks for the welcome SME!
Actually they didn´t ship it to Brazil... It would be VERY expensive as it is a bit heavy.
I believe this is the first Solarstorm in Brazil. :D
I´m now keeping the lights exactly 18 inches (45cm) from canopy as CLW recomend as minimun. Still, other 3w Led panel users position there panel way closer.
Would this diference be for the SS´s 5W led?
Best regards!
