End of first week of 12/12

So far plants have gone from 10" to 15" and have really filled out the top of the tub.

Going to do a rez change soon and switch to all flower nutes. Planned on using FloraNova for Bloom but my local hydro store's supply was already over a year old. GH recommends to use unopened for only one year from production date on bottle. So went with Cutting Edge Solutions which is also a copy of Lucas. They recommend 8mL Micro and 15-20mL of Bloom for Flowering.

Here's a pic of what we got so far..........

Glad you caught the expired FNB

CES is almost a GH copy but not exact. It should be close enough for LF though, I just never plugged the values into a nutrient calculator to see... ;)

Like with GH, 8/16 (or 8/15-20 for CES) might be a little hot for LED plants but give it a shot and drop it down to whatever the 6/12 or 7/14 equivalent might be...if you need to. 15-20 is a pretty large range though...

Rez change out today.

All bloom nutes from now on. Had some grow in the mix for the first 10 days of 12/12.

End of week 2 of 12/12. These ladies are looking nice so far. Lots of flowers forming. Height is now about 22". So about 12" of stretch since switching to 12/12.

I think that flowering mj plants are beautiful and not just because they make good meds either... ;)

I agree SME, yrs ago living in Austin my mother came to visit and I had 5 plants in full flower on the back porch. She cold not stop talking about how beautiful they were and wanted me to give her some cuttings or seeds. She had no idea what it was. When she left my ex and I just rolled one and lofao.

GR

Plants looking good my friend!

High all,

Made it to the end of week 3 of bloom. Looking really nice so far. Flowers are everywhere and developing nicely. Of course, something had to go wrong somewhere along the grow. Went down this morning to check on the ladies and my air pump was making a helluva loud noise that it wasn't making the nite before. No bubble out of my airstones. Luckily, my water pump was still acting as a waterfall and hopefully putting some DO into the rez.

Cobbled together some old pumps from my garage until my new one gets here and hopefully caught the problem in time.

one other thing:

had a spare 400 watt HPS sitting all alone in the garage and figured it would be a nice addition to the SS400. so i have the HPS mounted vertically in front of my rez. Makes a huge difference as far as how bright it is. Should be about 70 watts/sq ft by my calculations. 330 w LED + 400 w HPS in a roughly 3X3.5 ft space.
