Hey GR,

Looking good there, can't wait to see them flower! Good luck on the surgery tomorrow...gall bladders suck when they act up.

I'm getting 2 MRI's on the spine myself on Friday, see how the broken back healed, may be looking at surgery again myself...well, it sure is one heck of a journey, ain't it??

If not for the valleys, we would not enjoy the view from the mountain tops!!

Be well,

ICB

SME,

I will stick with that protocol, and continue to nute that plants every other watering, unless I have to start watering daily or every two days then I may space the nute watering to a 1 in 3, working to keep the pH at 6.7 to 6.8. Thanks for the advice on letting the nutes sit before taking final pH reading.

Curt,

Not sure about you but damn it is a bitch getting older.

As for the main-line, my suggestion is to be extremely careful when making any cuts to the plants. Poor ol' Q1 has been through a lot of misery and right before I left home on Wed. to come into town for my surgery on Thursday I noticed that one of the shoots on that plant was going limp while the rest of the plant was doing good. Upon inspection I found that during trimming of the lower fan leaves that I had slightly cut into the branch of that shoot. I tape it up and will see if my efforts were successful, if not I will have a 5 shoot main line. Hell so much has happened to Q1 and she has been under so much stress that I will bet she will be a male of a transvestite. :o

As far as the surgery, I got there yesterday morning early and they took me in to pre-op to get me ready. When they hooked me up they went into a panic mode as my heart rate was 28, they thought I was having a cardiac arrest. They shipped me over to the hospital immediately and had me admitted . I spent the rest of the day waiting for the cardiologist to come clear me and get the procedure over with. Well at around 4:30 PM they said the surgeon wanted me to see my heart specialist to get clearance for the procedure and I was being sent home and reschedule the procedure after I got his clearance.
I was very very pissed because now I have to go through another week or two of the fking pain before I can have it taken of.

Oh well, so it the adventure they call my life, it just continues on. Guess this is better than the alternative. ;)

Peace out,

GR

Sorry to hear about the delays GR with the surgery. Does MJ help with the pain at all? A good strong indica should take the edge off for a bit.

I like the transvestite comment! Probably better than a hermaphrodite. hahahaha

Keep putting plenty of pix up. I think you have gotten the interest of alot of us with the mainlining concept and we all want to see how it goes.

Yeah GR,

I know what you mean. I've been to Bangkok and after a 12 pack, you HAVE to be careful over there or you'll have a surprise when you get back to the hotel. hahahahaha

Hi y'all,

Well lots has happened since last week, they canceled my surgery due to low heart beat. That sucked they got me ready in pre op but they checked my blood pressure and heart rate and it was 28. I know this is a false reading because I have and extra heart beat but they rolled me into the hospital right away, spent the day there before they decided to cancel.

Well got home on Friday 9/20 and did some light pruning and tying.

Sunday 9/22, pruned both plants in prep for going 12/12 as soon as my filter and fan show up.
After pruning, did a lite fert, 750 ppm Bloom and Cal/Mag, pH adjusted to 6.77
So here are the pics as they stand this morning. I know with all the crap these plants have withstood I will be lucky if they are Ladies, but if they are they are trained for the mainline.

Now just giving them a little grow time and get them ready for flower.

Even with all the problems I have had with this grow I am still a big fan of mainlining, and I can't wait to start all over doing it right this time. Still trying to decide on strain for next grow. I have some White Widow, some Ace of Spades and some Eldorado from Nirvana Seed. Have seen the Eldorado grow and I think it may be to large for my cabinet. My buddy in NM is doing a mainline of the Eldorado this winter so I will watch him closely.

Peace out,

GR

Thanks Sis,

It is now scheduled for Thursday the third at 9 AM.

I hope I can make it that long and not have to go to emergency room before then.

I ended up in the ER few times due to my gall stones too. Took the VA a long time to decide to yank mine out too. I remember...

Hang in there and avoid any foods that might trigger an attack. ;)
