Day 40 SWOG still a lot of leaf curling but flower production continues.
Everything to do with the ss400 is perfect, it puts out some warm air but it's very quiet. If I can get this leaf curl taken care of and the red/purple stripes.

SME, will the leafs ever go back to normal or will only the new growth not be curled?
Will the stripes go away? With floranova do I need to adjust the PH of the water? It is always really low at 8ml per gallon

The leaves might go back to normal but not always. If they became dry and crispy then they won't and you can only check the newer growth. :)

Hello again, having some issues with I'm sure a ph issue I called G.H. And asked about how to use the floranova nutrients, I was told not to adjusts the ph and that the soil will buffer and ph will go back up on its own. I have to say things have only gotten worse I have a lot of fan leaves on my K.B. Plant and some leaves with crispy brown spots on the leaves, every time I mix the floranova bloom at 5 ml per gallon in R.O. Which started at a ph of 7.5 it drops down to around 4 or so. And that's when the problems started with my K.B. Plant started it is day 52 for the S.W.O.G. And it is doing better than it was but growth is pretty slow at this point day 38 for the K.B. Plant temps run 78/45 lights on 68/60 lights off.

I certainly wouldn't feed/water without adjusting the pH first and if the pH is too low, you can lock out more nutrients than if it were too high. FNB has a pH of 2. What's the run-off pH?

How much calmag are you adding? Adding anything else?

Try to lower the night time humidity a bit too... ;)

Is it ok that the nutes go cloudy when I adjust the ph? I thought it had a really low ph, well the ph of the run off is 6.3 but is continuing to drop .should I flush with the correct ph to try to adjust they were watered last night I don't want to over water but then again with as much perlite as I have in the soil it dries out within three days.

Define cloudy? How do you mix your FNB meals? Run it down, step by step, how much of what, please...

*I* would water again now with 10%tap/RO, add 2ml/gal cal mag, stir well, and then pH to 6.8. Wait a while, test pH, adjust if needed. Repeat as needed. Flush until decent run-off and then let them dry out a bit before feeding again with pH corrected food in a few days. That buys us a few days to figure out what needs to be done...

What do you use to pH up/down? Do you use a water softener on your tap?

it looks like a cloud spreading through the water as soon as ph up by G.H. Hits the water.

first I use R.O. That has a P.H. Of 7.6 from a store, 1 gallon at a time since that is about 20 percent run off.I have now only been adding 7 ml FNB to the water then last night I did not adjust the water.

First water then FNB and stir then wait 15 minutes and stir and then check the PH. Normally I adjust which is about a tablespoon of PH up and was getting between 6.6 and 7.0

The run off was coming out 6.5 for the longest time but has been continuing to drop. How much water should I run through a 3 gallon pot? These plants have only had R.O. From the same store since they germinated

What color cloud? Any odors? Cloudy like when you pour milk in coffee or water in an engine block? Cloudy like when you mix thick FNB nutrients into water? Does it mix solid cloudy or streaked cloudy? Does it "clear" back up, if so how long?

Have you tested the ppm/ec of the store's RO? Do you use calmag too? Anything else?

1tbsp (15ml) of pH up sounds like a lot for one gallon of prep. Prepare the nutrients the night before and let them sit longer before making adjustments. I think we can tweak your process a bit too.

Since you've already watered, just throw 1 gallon at her and then let her dry out while we debate the best way to get you going again.

I'd say its an opaque kinda white looks like milk into coffee, no odors it's a solid cloud and the FNB pretty much drops to the bottom. It does clear up after a few minutes. I have not checked the ppm. I do not own a ppm. What is a dependable brand to buy? I try to go with less rather than more. I haven't used cal mag in a while but when I did it was always .5 ml per gal since I figured FNB has calcium and magnesium in it And it is always water then three days and then water with nutes
I had been thinking about prepping the nutes but wasn't sure if it would be ok to let them sit overnight.
