Hey Sis,

I like the idea of mixing the nutes the night before, that may make my pH adjustment easier.

Thanks,

So the runoff of my K.B. is now 6.7 and I got the S.W.O.G. Back up to 6.5 I hope it stays steady until it dries out in a few days. Should I make the nutes now or just the night before?

Night before or morning of as long as you give it plenty of time to stir/mix/stabilize/equalize or whatever it needs. The goal is a certain stable pH going in and coming out. Let's start with 6.7 for now and see how that goes next feeding in a couple/few days.

I'm a bit concerned with the clouding. It could be nutrients falling out of suspension from a spike in pH in one direction or the other.

.5ml/gal is light...I think it says 5ml/gal on the bottle. How bad is your tap water again?

I use a Hanna combo meter for hydro, there are better, more expensive, meters too. Virtually any digital meter would be better than nothing.

If you want to test the cloudy problem with a small batch lets try this:
.5gal RO
1ml calmag (does it cloud?)
Stir VERY well
wait 30 min and check pH (and EC/ppm if you get a meter)
wait 15 min and check pH (and EC/ppm if you get a meter)(any change?) (repeat until stable)
Shake FNB bottle VERY well
3ml FNB (cloudy again/no?)
Stir VERY well

wait 30 min and check pH (and EC/ppm if you get a meter)
wait 15 min and check pH (and EC/ppm if you get a meter)(any change?) (repeat until stable)
adjust pH a few drops at a time
Stir VERY well
(repeat "wait/wait/small pH adjust/stir" loop until you hit 6.7 - stable)
Feed...

Pray...

Take pictures...

Thanks sme, the yellowing seems to have come to a halt or at least slowed down and a lot of the leaf curl is going back to normal. I will work with the nutes the night before I water until then it's just a waiting game. I hope this smooths things out, it might be because I stopped putting the ph up in drop by drop and stirring I didn't realize that even made a difference. I'm really hoping that after the next feeding that my ph is back to normal as for my tap water it smells of chlorine and I don't even drink the stuff because that's all I taste for hours. That's pretty much the reason I started growing in the first place so I can know what I am putting inside my body.

You don't need to, literally, go drop by drop when mixing larger quantities. Especially once you get used to how much you use per batch.

Hope they're doing better...

Day 63 of 12/12 S.W.O.G and thing are doing much better. water in is 6.8 and run off is 6.5

ss400 is with in 3 inches of my Kushberry plant and no sign of light bleaching, it has been there for three days now.
It is on day 53 of 12/12. Things are starting to fill in nicely still some minor issues with p.h. But slowly coming out of it.
I cut a sample from a lower part of my SWOG today and it is drying. I have used the uv through the whole grow, everything is super frosty.

I am hoping to finish out this round harvest in the next 2 or 3 weeks on the SWOG and 4 to 5 weeks on the kb. These pictures are from last week and the next post is from tonight.

Hear are tonight's pictures after I did some minor LSTing and defoliation. I only removed dying leaves and already dead leaves. Along with one sample to see how it is going to turn out, some of the branches are get heavy and are starting to lean and I put up supports for the weight. PH of water 6.8 runoff 6.5 temps 75 humidity 50 with the lights on 60 with them off but I have really good air flow so I hope that I can keep from getting mold as it will be humid for the next seven days

I checked my trichs last night still seeing a lot if clear maybe about 30% cloudy and the rest clear. Things are starting to get some real density to them while of course everything in the lower parts of the plant are light and fluffy.it is a very strong smell coming out of my closet, when I open the door but with the door closed I have negative pressure so it is all contained.I can only imagine if these plants were outside, the whole neighborhood would be looking for a skunk lol

SME, I'm starting to get temps running lights on/lights off 74/66 should it be warmer? Will that stunt growth?
