Hey Curt,

Thanks for the well wishes, I did over do it this weekend so I plan on staying in bed most of the next few days as needed. Pain meds are good but I found out when I was being driven home before I got the pain meds that pot works also. Is not as good a pain med as Vicodin but it did help ease the pain.

The two mainline plants are in #3 Smart Pots, the clones are in 4" pots.

I transplanted the two mainlines into those #3 pots on Sept. 3rd, but as I said those poor ladies (?), they have been thorugh so much.

Tried to work on the cabinet a bit today, wrong choice, will try again tomorrow.

Peace out,

GR

Sorry if my post are a bit strange, that Vicodin does not help with ones writing abilities.

Just thought I would post a few pics before I put the ladies in the cabinet. They have gone an extra day between watering and man they show it.
They are so ready, and so am I to see if they are going to be the right sex.

Getting better everyday!

OK, all you wannabe Tim Taylor's, which I am not. The only thing I hit with a hammer is my thumb. That's why I use screws.

Cabinet is 32x48x74 inches OD. Grow space is 30x36x74" for flower and approx 30x12x74 for flower, may use this area for storage and build a separated veg room. When complete will have two fans blowing across the plants, a Wind Tunnel 4" 200cfm fan, a Phrish 200cfm filter and the lighting is California Light Works Solar Storm 400W LED. If needed I will add some CFL's but my grow is a two plant Mainline in three gallon Smart Pot's and four clones that I saved from the disasters I have encountered so I should not need the extra light.

Started installing the door. First thing I noticed was that I had fastened the hinges too tight and could not get it to close properly, big gap for light to escape. So I took the hinges off re aligned and re-installed them only to find that the door is bowed some only minor.

Each door has double 3/16th weather stripping.

Question is, how do I seal this to prevent light leakage?

hey GR,

i would try to fasten a piece of maybe 4 inch wide flexible black rubber around the edge of the door. and a good latch like SME linked.

how do you plan on sealing the fan vent holes? I'd check out some photography sites to see how darkrooms are sealed. They make special light proof vents that I checked into. NOt cheap but effective

Well do to health issues I have put off going into the 12/12 mode. I was not able to complete the cabinet, hooking it up to the inside air, but was able to do a little today. I hope that I will get the air hooked up tonight or tomorrow. Got to go back to Dr. tomorrow to find out why I am hurting so bad.

When I get them in the cabinet, either tonight or tomorrow I am going to keep them on veg, 24/0, until I return from a trip I have had planned for a few months with my lady friend. That means they should go under 12/12 Sunday or Monday.
That being said, I did a bit of pruning today and gave them a good feeding. I really like this mainlining methos. I had way to many problem with it this time around but my next grow will be much better.

Here are a few pics, since I have not posted in a while.

This first pics was taken on 10/13/13, It is of one of the clones I started a few weeks back. This was taken just after I transplanted it from a 3 inch pot to a 3/4 gallon pot.

I hope you're feeling better, sometimes a gallstone can get stuck in the duct before they take out the gall bladder (happened to me) but they can often flush that out without opening you back up. I assume they did yours laparoscopically?

As bad as I feel I could not wait any longer.

So this morning I completed the Cabinet. I know I will still have a few minor things to take care of but as of today I am in my cabinet. Going to leave the them in veg mode till I return on Sunday. Giving them a good watering in the morning before I leave. Have a batch of compost/worm castings tea brewing now.

Well here it is!
