My opinions are my own. ;)

Take a lot of pictures...

And on the 13th day, RKYMTNMAN said "Let there be light!"

Chopped them down after 13 days darkness. All survived quite well. Can't tell by the pic but under the scope, there are more trichs than 2 weeks ago. Not sure if there would be more if I kept lites on but .............. I've never done the same strain twice and I don't plan on changing after this White Widow grow.

I'll have some more pix after they are done drying and in jars.

They looked healthy after 13 days of dark? Of course there are more trichomes than 2 weeks ago, CLW doesn't even suggest turning on the UVB until the last 2-4 weeks so, like flower size/weight, production will be greatest at the end, imho. Unfortunately, we have no way to compare results.

Looking forward to more pictures too! :D

So, what's the next grow going to be like? Any changes or experiments?

RKM,

They really look GR8!

When I am feeling better will make a comment on your drying tech.

I will be under 12/12 starting this time next week.

Been feeling really funky as of late and have not done a lot but feed, water and watch. Have not felt like putting them into flower, although they are really ready. I hope to post some pics of the ladies from the past few week within the next few days.

Hey RKY!

Great looking buds for sure! I also didn't know what to expect from the extended period of darkness...in the past, I have accidently turned the lights off for a few days towards the end of a grow, and I thought it actually made the plants grow more leaves over the buds...but it seems you made out ok.

I've never seen plants drying like you have...did you chop all the plants down at once, and hang them together?

I've usually harvested in sections, chopping the tops first, then the middle branches, then the lower ones...kind of like taking tomatoes off...waiting until they ripen...

Just trying to learn about different methods!

GR8.....feel better man...take it easy on yourself!

Thanks,
ICB

Hey ICB and GR,

thanks for the well wishes! been a fun grow without any equipment problems to deal with. knock on wood!

yeah, i just take some tree loppers and chop em right at the top of the netpot. Then either clothespin or zip tie them to the clothesline i stretched out in the room

have a small heater keeping it at 70F and humidity is around 50%.

i've always just chopped the whole plant so never tried any other way. i think as long as you get to the goal of not too dry and not too moist before you put them in glass jars for the curing is fine.

should dry for maybe 2 or 3 more days and then i have a bunch of trimming to do. and then the bubble hash!

one of the 4 plants was dry yesterday so I trimmed her up last nite and jarred it. it was the smallest which is why it dried the fastest

borrowed the neighbors postal scale and the results are :

plant #1: dry weight 52.1 grams

had alot of fluff bud that will be turned into hash this weekend

i'll be trimming the other 3 tonite and post the weight later

You might want to weigh that again after curing, it'll get a bit lighter but you still got close to 2 oz from the smallest plant so you may hit .7g/w if you get more than 2oz each from the other 3, which I think is better than last time. Right?

EDIT:
Oh, I forgot that you added a HPS part way through which makes determining g/w harder and it lowers your numbers. :(
