At least I have Q2 and her daughter to finish this grow.
The freind in California, who sent me these seeds, said his friend who is a grower/breeder had done the feminized trick to these seeds. I started with 5 Querkle and 2 Grand daddy Purple's. 2 of the Querkle did not germ and the other one that did got taken out when the CFL light crashed into the plants. So that left me two, during trimming I started the clones from Q1, four of them, and started one clone from Q2 when I was thinning it out. Only one of the GDP germed but it crashed on me two days after emergence.
My buddy in NM and I ordered together and I now have 5 WW, 3 Ice, 5 Afgan, all feminized. Next grow will be 2 WW and 2 Ice. I can do 4 in either reg. grow or Mainline.
I also have 10 free seed from our purchase, nondescript, so not sure what I will do with them. Maybe after a few more grows I will plant them all in one grow and hope for the best.
I really like this light, but withholding judgement until I see how the flower goes.

See some but not that many pistols just enough to know they are ladies.
Not drinking that much but doing some stretch, about 4 to 5 inches last week. I would have expected more stretch, maybe this week. Did fix a couple of minor light leaks this morning and took some pictures.
Temps and humidity holding steady,
71 to 75 degrees 56 to 61 RH
I will be watering tomorrow or Wed. morning. May have to begin watering them separate as Q2 is drinking more than her daughter.

I'd still want that humidity lower during flower and the temps a bit higher, if possible. I assume the spots I see are just hot-spots reflecting off the mylar (watch those too btw) but other than that, they seem healthy.

Got my temps up to 78 with lights on and 72 off. RH is still at 60 lights on, and 63 lights off. Ordered new fan and filter, dehumidifier has to wait, $ problems. Yes that is reflections off the Mylar, I rotate the plant at least daily, most of the time multi times during the day.
Question?
I have been using 600 to 700 ppm nutes. I was reading last night and read that I should be at 1300 t0 1500 ppm during flower. What is the correct number to shoot for? Today I watered and nuted with 975ppm, just want to get it right.

Great to see you have some pretty ladies on your hands! After all this work, I know it feels good. Must have been painful to see Q1 get chopped.
I'll be watching Q2 closely, can't wait for her to grow up!! Timing should be good to help me decide how much trimming I will be doing the next time around...
There is no one specific number to shoot for based on stage of growth. I use the Lucas Formula, in hydro, for the entire grow. What matters is how healthy the plants are. If the lower PPM shows signs of deficiency then raise it, if the higher PPM starts causing problems, lower it.

Thanks Curt, any help I can be just ask. I can kill them with the best of them. LOL
SME, They are just not giving me the stretch I was expecting and wondering if it is not nute problems or deficiencies. I have not figured out the Lucas formula yet. I am just going with the GH recommendations.
One thing I have noticed with this Mainline grow, that is that the branches that broke and I attempted to make work are much smaller than the good mainline branches. I really noticed it on Q1 the fifth branch that was a single was twice as thick as the other branches. The two small ones on Q2 are barely growning compared to the rest of the plant.
I will be trying this again, next grow I want to have 4 mainlines in the box, two WW and two Ace. Hasve an order in for White Rhino, which will be the next falls grow.
Could be genetics or just accidently good environmental conditions. If you want to give them more food, try it. You can always readjust if it's too much.
LF just uses the bloom and the micro and it uses the same strength (PPM/EC) for the entire grow. LF was designed for hydro though, so I have no idea what that would do in soil.

Well at today's measurement the ladies have grown about 7 inches since the start of flower, not sure how much more they will grow, but I really don't expect much more. The profile of this plant on TGA's website says they are a short squatty plant, so this may be it. I got room for more growth.
They are looking good and healthy, pic's soon. More pistols daily.
