I just received my Solarstorm 400w as a a part of the GFP and am excited to see the changes in growth from my previous setup. For the past two years I've been growing in a minimal setup: Large wardrobe box from Uhaul with multiple 2700K CFLs of various wattage. I've been successful in growing one plant at a time in this box for personal use, but wanted to upgrade my setup since this has become more of a passion rather than just a hobby. I have been getting around 55-70g dried and manicured per plant with the cardboard box setup.
Unfortunately, there was damage to one of my plants while setting up the intake fan and filter, but I was able to cut the damaged branches into clones and they're currently rooting with the rest of the babies.
I'm about two weeks into 12/12 flowering and have three plants in a tent that's about 35x20x60. It's a tight squeeze due to stretching and I think moving forward I'll stick with two plants.
I'm only a few days in, but will post some pics as a starting point.
Here's a breakdown of the current grow:
35x20x60 tent 170CFM intake fan and charcoal filter Solarstorm 400W growing medium - Coco Peat nutes: Fox farms - Grow Big, Big Blooms, Tiger Blooms three plants: BLUE DIESEL, AC/DC (phenotype of Cannatonic), and LAVENDER
I look forward to any and all comments and advice.
That light will certainly provide better quality than you're used to.

All I can say is "Wow!" This light has really beefed up bud production already. I'm growing two new strains and one that I've grown a few times prior. Right now I'm about 30 days in bloom. I had a brief issue with powdery mildew, but that seems to be under control now. I usually use a solution of hydrogen peroxide or milk depending how long into flower they are.
The lavender is super stacked with bud sites already. My only concern is that the Blue Diesel stretched too much for the space; next time I'll start from clone without much veg time.
Future grows will either require Scrog or less plants until I'm using a larger space. Plant height is the biggest concern.
Yes, cannabis plants will typically double, triple (or more) from flip to harvest and since LED lights don't penetrate well you're better off growing from clone and flipping while they're small. That can increase plant numbers (which may or may not be an issue) required to fill the canopy but you'd have better luck that way, imho.
