While having never used a LED for indoor growing- I have spent the past 20+ years growing with floros and HID's.

I have made my choice (Solar Flare Vegmaster) and am making the plunge in the next few days. I plan on starting with my veg areas, and moving over to replace flowering units over the next 2 years... this will be my first foray into the world of diodes.

I see plenty of threadwork here on the Solar Storm... where is the Flare love? Nobody is documenting that? I believe there may be a slot there for this heathen once he gets his gear setup... I normally document my stuff elsewhere... and I have documented indoor grows many times over the years.

So this is my hello- I probably will lurk, but could be persuaded to document some things if California Lightworks shows a little love- it's a risky bidness out here, and some of us have trimmed our online participation down a notch. (Ah, the puns... )

I think most people go for the Storm over the Flare because the SolarStorm is more powerful, most LED lights won't cover a very large area. I wonder how long it will be before we have LEDs in the 7w-10w range...
