200w Solar Flare

Postby fred56c » Wed Nov 27, 2013 6:54 am

I have CLW 200w Full Cycle Solar Flare and have just went into bloom. What would be the best distance for the light to plants. 4 plants 2x2 footprint.

Welcome to the forums!

CLW suggests 18-24" from the top of the plants; you can experiment to see what works best for you but, imho, you're stretching the w/sqft a little thin too.

Thanks for reply, I was wondering if my post was ever going to show up but as a new member and being the holidays it probably took longer to get approved.
I got the SF200 to try it out. Found some old bag seeds in a metal screwtop film container in a drawer, they were at least 30 years old. I put 25 in small pots hoping for a couple to sprout. 20 came up and 16 made it to veg. Now I was pretty rough on these plants (fimmed, topped,LSTed, different nutes and so on ) . They just kept on growing, pics are 7 weeks veg just befor going 12/12. I did notice as another poster mentioned that new growth was a lighter green almost yellowish but mine darkened to green shortly, maybe a quirk of LEDs?.
The 16 plants were crowded into a 2x3 area with light at18" .
After starting 12/12 11 plants turned out to be male and 1 hermie , all were removed and 4 fems now survive .

You probably should have gotten the SS400w for flowering in a 3x2 area, imho. How long have they been flowering? Are they still healthy? :)
