Yea I knew it was bad seed since I had 3 others going at the same time..same seed same soil, same light, same everything. Oh well how it goes!

Pretty much the same deal here. I had 3 seeds pop out of the RootRiot cube, and basically turn to puss. I never seen anything like it. heres a pic of mine 40 days into flower, luckily I had time to leave it. (It didnt do nothing for the longest time then started flowering) The leaves when it was young were even bent more. Like a pepper plant. h

Heres some pics of my two in the bubblers and everything else in my tent lol. I changed my water out today and while I was add it I wrapped the buckets in mylar and cut out a piece for the top. The water was 7 days no alge growth...I think I will be fine the mylar should reflect a substantial amount of heat back. I will add some inslulation to the buckets themselves this weekend sometime. So far roots are healthy, plants are growing.

One question when should I put this thing into flower? Do the same rules of veg still apply. Usually with soil I veg a month then flower.

First one is the Superbud, 2nd pic is OG Kush #18, in the back are my two Autos..Afghan Kush Ryders...cant tell but nuggets are very hard and a crap load of them, in the middle are Paradise Seeds Acid, and Nebula...my 12/12 from seed experiment. There in flowering now. Then in the soil on the right is a OG Kush #18. The little fella between the bubblers is a basil plant.

I wil be harvesting the Afghans in the next two weeks or so. Things are smelly and super sticky all over. I know alot dont like Autos but I love those. Never had a single issue with them about 60 days from seed to harvest great all around smoke and grow pretty large.

Do any of you guys use a Vaporizer? I have a da buddha. I dont think I can use a bong anymore it bothers my lungs immensely. In Iraq our base had open burn pits and it was serious smoke everywhere 24/7 burned everything plastics, human waste, metals...they say that had no impact on health lol. There trying to do studies but all the open burn pits are gone so suprise suprise VA says theres no data on the issue. No burn pits no data lol. Every since then though my lungs are easy to irritate. Wish I could bong it since thats full flavor oh well.

How you doin with the nutes? Meaning. What are your Ec's at?

Pretty much the same rules apply. (They double in size) I usually go about 4 weeks.

I have a vaporizer. Dont have a clue how to use it, Ive tried 3-4 times, but never figured it out. Obviously, Im doing something wrong. Maybe someone can give me some pointers. I just got a new bong from bongoutlet.ca (out of Canada, awesome selection). It has 2 10 finger percs. Very smooooooth, no caughing.

You say you like autos? here's a vid of an auto that was grown in your similar situation. The grower has kind of a big head, so we really dont get along. Its only gotten bigger, after being chosen to be DP's test grower. Oh well its like watching Kurt Bush, no matter how much you hate him, the fucker can drive! Peace. h

Actually I frequent that forum often LOL. Check out the same growers Think Different grow..amazing.

What kind of vaporizer do you have? I have da Buddha. All you do is put the herb in and set it to the temp that you want to smoke it at and done. On mine theres no temp indicator but 12 clock noon setting is fine. THC vaporizers at like 392 degrees. Thats why there gaining in popularity. There is no combustion of material basically only vapor aka steam comes out of your herb. When you are done with your herb it looks like tobacco out of a unused cig.

My PPM for Superbud is like 800 OG its like 700. OG is one week behind Superbud.

[quote="SisterMaryElephant"]Yes, you can use mylar or white poly to relfect light/heat from the buckets. There are other things you can do like having a large reservoir which will act like a radiator outside the grow room and a small pump to circulate the contents. It kind of depends on budget, room and amount of money you want to throw at the problem.

I used to use 5 gallon buckets for DWC but, now, even for small plants I'd prefer something much larger. While I, personally, prefer larger plants; even smaller plants would benefit from more than 3-5 gallon buckets. SOG sized plants don't usually have time to build much of a root ball but there are other benefits too.

Thanks..added mylar last night when I changed out the water and water is a nice 70 degrees now..knew mylar reflected alot but its reflecting the heat back very well. Its certainly better then it was after a few days the water would be about the same temp as the tent. I think a little insulation and I will be just fine. I thought of adding more but Ive already spent to much this cycle LOL. Thanks on the mylar tip though.

Yeah, flower at about 1/3 to 1/2 the size you want them to finish, some plants double in size, some triple.

70 is OK for res temps, that will go back up, I prefer 65-ish for a couple of reasons but since you're running so much h2o2 you should be fine, as long as you don't use too much. ;)

I have a vaporizer too (EZ-Vape Digital) but I don't like it that much. I love the concept of not burning plant matter to inhale but it's a hassle, too much waste and I don't think I've got mine dialed in or something. Even at 320, mine can burn the product.

I really like my da Buddha wanted the Silver Surfer but its the same maker and very similar.

I know that plants double and triple but in dwc was not sure when to exactly flower didnt know if it progressed the same as soil.

DWC does grow faster than soil, imo but it's best to decide when to flower based on size not age, especially when trying new methods/genetics. You might find you overgrow your area too soon if you stick to the way you did things in soil or it may turn out the same since it's new genetics too. ;) Once you get everything dialed "days" is easier to track because then you'll know that in X days they'll be Y tall...

Oh on vapes you cant just inhale like a bong. You have to do a natural slow pull. If you do a fast one nothing happens or its to much. Makes your stash last about 3-5x longer as well.
