Did any of the plant pictures that I linked look like what you have?

OK ray, we are making progress. thanks for the info.

so let's see where we stand:

growing in soil called black magic and plants are pretty large at this point

first problem, you are using hydro nutrients for a soil grow. AN sensi is their hydro line of nutrients.

do you order everything online? or is there a grow shop nearby? my first suggestion would be to start simple. if i were you, i'd get a bottle of general hydroponics floranova bloom. it is for hydro or soil grows. and there is a nutrient program/regimen called the Lucas formula. it is the simplest way to feed marijuana. and it works. all you need will be "pure" water: rainwater, or reverse osmosis, or distilled that you can get from walmart. and the floranova bloom.

i've never done a soil grow but SME or some of the other dirt farmers can chime in. i'm not familiar with black magic soil. or what it has in it.

where do you get your water from to water the plants? are you on city water? if so, you'll want to let it set overnite for the chlorine to dissipate. that's why most growers want to use "pure" water. there is nothing in it but water.

understand so far?

we are trying to do 2 things: figure out WHAT the problem is but more importantly, WHY is there a problem. the more info you provide the better.

The Lucas Formula was actually designed for hydroponics so it might need to be tweaked for soil.

It appears to be magnesium then but that could be from bad water, pH issues or just not enough mg. Try a foliar feeding, when the light is on, with epsom salt at 1/2 tsp/quart sprayed directly on the leaves, top and under. If they get better fairly quickly you just needed more. If not, you have other problems that require the info RKY asked for and/or a pH meter. Maybe even a ppm/EC meter depending on your water source. ;)

i think what they mean by all mediums would be hydroton, rockwool, etc etc for hydroponics

if you are going to stick with soil, i would get a soil specific nutrient.

and if the plant(s) are already 2 feet tall, you need to think about switching over to 12/12 to start the flowering process pretty soon

good luck, RKY

there is no best way to grow. it's up to the individual.

i'd either get a book or do some internet searching on hydro and soil growing. see what looks more interesting to you and go for it

like anything else, you can spend a little or a lot.
