Happy,

I concur with ICB, let it dry slow with air movement, jar them and go thru the burping process, then use the hydro-packs to control the humidity in the jars.
I have been smoking my buds since before I harvested and the difference between then and now is amazing. Every time I pull a bud from the jar it has better aroma, taste (flavor), the high is gr8 and the feel of the buds are perfect, IMHO.

GR

I harvested 6+ weeks ago.

Thanx ICB & GR...
What had been hanging in my little hut was dry enough to go into jars... The rest has been clipped and hung.

Have either of you tried the Boveda pacs? Last grow I heard about them and read up on them, this harvest I decided to try them. Supposedly they will hold the humidity at 62% in an air-tight container?? I have been burping, but wanted these for the long term...

The smoke isn't cured yet but the earlier clipped is plenty fry enough to smoke... It is better than the previous grow....but not worth waiting 120 days for!!! And even at that there were still bunches of clear trics......amber is rare!!

Sux, but I will have weed for a while. Hopefully the next strain will bring better results....if not I may have to fly SME here for some one-on-one lessons...hahahaha

Somebody said that boveda claims you shouldn't burp but burping is more than humidity control; it's also to exchange gasses so I'd burp them.

Last time I flew my arms got really tired... ;)

:D
I figure I will burp em for a month, gradually tapering off.

So far the bud I have pulled from jars has been dry to the touch on the outside, but gets sticky quick when you bust it up...and the smoke hasn't been to bad, even though is isn't cured yet.

It is better than the last grow...the buds are tighter, bigger & stickier....but not 60 extra days worth better.... Because they got big I got a lot of trim...at least as much as last time, but stickier...so I'm thinking hash & tinc...lol I'll be playing for a while...between some recipes and grooming the AK mothers...thinking that I may even sprout some Dieselrella this weekend. Maybe get it going so it can follow the AK....if the AK works out....

Hopefully it will last at least until I have a grow from another strain near harvest.... :D

I will have a final total with pics in a few days...

Now if we can just get your patience level up to the point where you don't smoke uncured dope. ;)

Hahahaha, well if my patience hadn't let this grow go an extra 50-60 days just to see, and if it finished in the 63-70 days I was expecting, it would have been cured long ago...

Gotta do what ya gotta do...smoking uncured is better than not smoking at all...IMO ;)

Last grow my wife and I got tired of waiting and did a quick dry and stuck samples In the vapo. It was really green tasting to say the least but it did the trick for the moment. In my current grow I believe the ultrasour is only a 60 day strain so I'm hoping it will finish first.

Well it has been quite a process...but the salvage grow is finally all chopped, dried and in jars curing!

Although the extra time I allowed didn't get me the amber trics I wanted it did add to the weight...as compared to the last grow.

I ended up with a couple of gal zips of trim & popcorn that is loaded with trics...it should make for some good hash...

I filled 12 half-gallon jars and 2.5 quart jars of trimmed bud!! Including what has been smoked already, I am thinking I got about 0.8g per watt...which is a big jump from the previous numbers....unless I screwed up on numbers.

I ran all my CLW units...totaling 1020 watts....two 400s & two 200s...(Mags were used up on new strain). Total dried weight that went into jars = 844g.... 0.82g/watt??

The smoke is ok...it is a little better than the previous grow...but not 60 days worth better....and still not the rocket fuel I am after.... But I did end up with enough smoke & material for play that I can take time prepping for the next attempt....with a different strain.

On the restart from seed....things are good now, but we did hit a bump in the road... :) Some of the older, larger leaves started showing darker spots..a deficiency...which tied back to the ph...which SEEMED to be within reason...according to the meter.

It wasn't until I put some ole fashion drops into a sample of my calibration solution that I realized the calibration solutions were off...either due to age or pollution by use.... I have since bought new solutions and made adjustments and they are doing much better and growing like the weeds that they are!! LOL Lights aren' on yet..I'll try to remember to get some new pics.

Happy!!

I still think they sent you the wrong seeds but .82g/w isn't bad, it just took a long time to get there. ;)

Don't forget pics... :)
