I am thinking of getting the advanced led xml 350 and the new ds 200 ex-veg lights and need to know what some of the more experienced people think gonna get 2 gorilla grow tents as well 1 2"x4 and 1 2 x2.5 I plan to veg in the 2x4 and flower in the 2x2.5 any help is greatly appreciated as this is my first ever indoor mj grow
I just looked up the specs: 10w diodes (x10) are certainly interesting but they're mixing them with much weaker 3w diodes (x144) which is a mistake in my opinion. Unfortunately they still overstate the coverage too. I'm skeptical about all-blue veg lights, a little red (and other spectra) is still a good thing. The company did get a decent review 2 years ago with their older 3w model but I'm not so sure about those new lights. It seems like they're trying to cut corners instead of making a better light.
I didn't even know 10w diodes were out yet. I assume CLW will be adding those to their new models next month too.

Thanks Sme I have also looked at the lush LEDs as well as clw and I like there lights as well just been doing a lil bit to much research lately and am trying to decide on which one to choose I seen a YouTube on the xml 350 and really liked but there's just not that much info in the video about them check them out if you can
3w diodes are just outdated technology for grow lights. If they were for small plants; seedlings/early veg, they'd be fine but not for flowering and there aren't enough 10w diodes to make a big difference.
If I get my hands on one I'll review it though...

why don't you call them and ask why they wouldn't use all 10 watters? like SME said 3 watters are like yesterday's news. i'd be interested in their response too. is it a person who has no idea what they are talking about blowing smoke. george from clw is more than willing to put his stuff out there and explain things. good luck!
I don't know if I'd even use 1w diodes for seedlings. MAYBE they've gotten better....maybe not.
