I am new to this, so hopefully I have put this post in the right place. I've setup a new LED room along side my HPS room. After the first 24 hours I can see that there is already going to be a massive difference between the two. My main interest in going LED was to combat heat. Here are some initial numbers just to get started. I will update and add more data as I get it.
400 watt LED
LED room ambient temp 58.1℉
LED room with bloom light 63.1℉
400 watt HPS would be in the 80℉ range.

Which LED light are you using and is it 400 LED watts or 400w actual draw?
What are you growing?
Is your HPS using a wing type reflector or an air-cooled reflector hood and, if air-cooled, what size fan are you using for the hood?
