I have been a Michigan Medical Cannabis patient and growing for my personal medication for about four years.
I went from growing with a 400W Hydrofarm switchable ballast, running MH in veg and HPS in flower.
I am stepping it up with the SS 400W LED light. I grow in a 4' X 2' X 7' cabinet, with a 6" Can Fan (variable speed adjuster), a ProFilter activated carbon filter, a 6" circulating fan, humidifier and soon an electric heater. I run the General Organics Veganic line: BioThrive Grow, CaMg+, BioWeed and BioRoot in veg; BioThrive Bloom, BioBud, BioWeed, CaMg+ and molasses in flower. I also use the Earth Juice Natural Up and Down as well as Bountea.
I have 6 plants in flower, in 4 gallon Root Maker air pots. Genetics: one Black Kush feminized seedling which my best friend developed (I believe it is Black Domina & Kandy Kush), two Holy Waters regular seedlings which I produced (Black Water X GrapeGod), three Black Water X Sour Diesel 2 regular seedlings (working on the name, any suggestions?).
With my LED obsession starting recently unfortunately we don't get to see the SS in veg, I flipped the SS into flower as soon I received it so I am a week into flower now. Also, this winter has been nasty compared to the last few years so I just bought a bigger humidifier and I have an electric heater being shipped to me.

Disclaimer: I still use HID and I'm NOT an LED expert. All of my LED knowledge is from other parties or research so I can't say from first hand experience one way or another. I also run a medical grow consulting business in SoCal.
nice, can't wait to see the end results. Love the pots ur using too.
Veganics > Every other growing method. IMO.
@ Kyle Kushman's Dispensary the Veganicly grown strains Dominate! highest price, best burn, smoothest, i could go on and on... veganic tangie is like eating a tangerine!!!!! I think he is the one really pushing the veganic gardening recently?
strain name 2cents: purple diesel, purple sour diesel... black and mild?? hahahha jk. ( isuckatthis.) idk i would like to see the black.. or water.. part kept cuz I think that is the stand out strain. but those are hard words to work with!! it is always easier to just go with the diesel. went purple cuz mendo purps is IBL in there.
Thank you, they are cheaper than the other version but I like them as well. Beyond root pruning with 4 gallons or so of dirt the wholes help air out the soil so that it doesn't stay wet for ever.
I love veganics, along with everything you mentioned you don't get the salts either. I am impressed how well versed you are, through Kushman my buddy got me interested in it and now I am hooked. I really want to try Kushman's OG Tea but it is super expensive.
I thought about Purple Diesel but someone has already used that. I was trying to incorporate water so I was thinking Diesel Spill or something but that is cheesy. Like you said BW is Mendo Purple X OG so what about either: Mendo Purple Diesel or Mendo Sour Purps?
Mendo sour purp. ok ok... now your getting closer!!! that sounds like FIRE!!! hahaha If I saw that name in a dispensary it would catch my attention (who doesn't love a good purple??) especially a sour purp.
Yeah your right, the Kushman Veganic Line of nutes is expensive as hell. I personally don't run it, but my friends do, and like I said earlier their flowers kick the shit outta mine. Big ups, CL

I have checked out a bit of Kyle Kushman's YouTube videos but I don't know if I have caught his interviews on Free Weed, I will get in some quality YouTube time today.
Two weeks into flower and they are looking healthy and nearly stress free. As you can see I top and train my plants, I am flower focused, this is fitting for LED growing; in fact I may pull a few colas down in order to get more light penetration. With proper training you can keep almost any strain a bit smaller.
These plants are so stress free because of the CLW Solar Storm. The nodes are nice and tight thanks to the SS; even with a lot of training and pinching, these similar genetics stretched more under the HID. The tallest plant is only 14 inches tall from the top of the soil to the top of the flower but they will be some fire flowers.
It should be fun to watch them mature these next few weeks.

this light really does work quite well. that first pic really shows how perfectly happy they are just taking off! The way you have them as bushes is proper. my next run will look more like that. great grow so far, will b nice to see it come together. CL
