Nice way to arrive at the shore! 1500hp and NOTHING poking out through the hood??!!?? Normally you'd see an air scoop attached to a monster blower. I guess the NO2 is a lot more compact and you can put the bottle anywhere. Man, you have had some great cars.

I have a 58 Chevy Fleetside restored and lightly customized [I can't find a pic] with a 350, baby blower, 700R4 5-speed, Jaguar front clip, etc. Actually, I want to sell it....

Thanks for the pic, I'll see if I can get a good pic of my Fleetside.

The Vette was a scab together of several different years (shit laying around the shop) Title is 69'. I ended up selling it to a guy who turned it into a 4X4.

Ya if we only could go back in time. My first car (14yo) was a 70' 442, second was a 69 Hurst Olds (ended up tubbed, with 580hp, and 640ftlbs, M22, and 4.88's) and number 3 was a 70' Camaro with the split bumper and extended nose. Factory 4.11, 4 speed car with a 500hp small block. Wish I had all 3 of them.

Life and family took over and everything was sold. I have a 97 Blazer, and a 97 Monte, that are both meticulously maintained. I still go to the NW Nationals every year, but have developed a brain tumor over the past few years, so I am unable to work for more than a couple hrs at a time, and have been basically forced to retire. I dont think it will be long, and I wont be driving anymore.

Yes many memories. Peace! h

There was no blower when it was in the car. Motor was originally in my buddies Altered Willy's.

Thats a sweet truck. Sounds like a nice daily driver/sleeper. h

We just started week 5 in flower. The photos were taken in natural house lighting [in my kitchen] so you can see any differences between the LED plants and the HID plants.

I'm not sure if the photos tell the whole story here but for some reason the LED plants look healthier than the HID plants. Certainly in person I can see a pretty telling difference. This is stumping me. Anyone find similar results?

all 6 plants [3 - under LED and 3 - under HID] are in the same room, fed the same fert, water, same Co2, same everything.

Other than that, all plants are seemingly at the same growth spot, all have begun to smell very good, all at the same height. Stretching under both LED and HID are the same.

Mine are that way too. I think its because of the intensity of the LEDs creating tighter/bushier plants. h

I believe your Solarstorm grow is greener because LEDs provide a much more balanced spectrum. HID is awesome but it comes at a sacrifice your using either MH or HPS one spectrum or the other. Theres other spectrums in the mix but not that much. Other then Plasma Lighting LEDs provide a much more natural lighting scheme at least imo.

Dunno if you watch Green House Seeds Expedition videos but in the one they go to India and discover there Super Lemon Haze being grown in vast fields. They are blown away and comment that these primitive indians grow better weed then they do and they came up with the strain. Then they comment its because everyone grows indoors and we make big sacrifices without realizing it to do it.

I saw this Youtube video on plant light use and the University guy was commenting that we tend to use MH or HPS but there are spectrums that they dont give off and we used to think plants did not use them but with todays equipment they can measure a reaction to say a color that was not thought used. They have no idea what its being used for but the plant responds to. Anyhow thats my two cents on why LEDs can lead to a better grow and if your using HID throw in a LED to make it even better.

I would say though so far they seem to be equal.

Not much longer before we get dry weight too. ;)

Did you get the nutrient issues worked out?

Very sorry I've not been around in the last 3 weeks but we've had some serious things happening around here.

The plants are progressing beautifully. Today is day 3 of week 8. We have approx 2 weeks to go. More pics to come and soon.

I would LOVE to grow outside, just once and marvel at one of those 10 pound plants. 10 Lbs from 1 plant? An acre of those? You'd have to get an automated trimmer fer sure :)
