looking good! those are both indica strains?

hope they don't stretch too much for you. do you plan on trimming the lower branches or making edibles/hash with them?

keep the pix coming

Thanks rkymtnman !

Bomb Berry Bomb - Indica/Sativa (Indica dominant)
Reserva Privada - Skywalker OG Kush is a potent indica-dominant hybrid strain

I thought about trimming the bottoms on the skywalker. The whole time i kinda have done more experimenting with her particularly for the reason being Berry is so short and fat and leafy that its actually hard to make your way through her just to see her main stem. Being a newer grower i told myself that i would only try a few things here and there so i didnt damage them. I did top skywalker and LST her too. Which i think turned out very well !

I am super excited to cause i got a hold of Growershouse and i ordered Fox Farm Bembe!! very excited to try it out! i will defiantly keep posting pics on here! all the people on this forum have been pretty good!!

just some advice: keep it simple with your additives. you can grow really good MJ with a very simple nute schedule. I'm 5 weeks into flower now and all I use is CuttingEdge micro and bloom in the Lucas formula and Dutchmaster Zone in my reservoir to keep away the nasties. Add a bottle of cal/mag and a flushing agent and you are pretty much done.

If you check out AdvancedNutes, their nute schedule has about 500 products that cost ALOT of money. Marketing BS in my opinion.

Thanks Xarlan ! There happy alright. But they are some sloooow growers! lol

rkymtnman i completely agree! i have looked at advanced nutrition stuff and yea you can break a bank account trying to buy all there products. When it comes to The Fox Farm stuff i did do lots of reading on them and looked at lots of grow journals and didnt find many .. and i really mean a very very small few that actually did use the whole line up of what they offer. So when i set out to do this i figured why not. Ill just get it all and try it out. I ve seen lots of journals that people used the least amount of nutes and got awesome results from. But when i seen how many despised fox farm i figured id see what everything they have can actually do. From here on in with this grow i can now go back to the drawing board for the next one ( which i have autos coming in right away ) and experiment from there on in.

But also i did originally pick up a bottle of cal/mag from From Botanica i believe the company was called. And it was shit! In the earlier stages berry seemed to not like it at all. General Organics is what i use now and it seems to be a world of difference. I know what your thinking. Cal/Mag is Cal/Mag. but i swear it wasnt

here's a thought about your cal/mag issue. botanicare is a line of hydro nutrients/additives and i think general organics is more for soil (hydro and organic stuff usually is not a good combo). maybe it doesn't work as it should in soil??

fox farm seems like it is one of the preferred brands for soil grows from what i've read.

when i first started, i'd only change one variable at a time. if you change too many things all at once, and if it works well or works like crap, you won't really know what caused it.

Well its feeding day here and here they are again! This is the start of week 6 on the FF feeding chart and the start of the second week in to 12/12. Basically start of week 8 in total. Skywalker is reaching in at 15 " now and Berry is 12-12.5" some small growth out of them. I did have the light only 12 inches above them both for the start of the 12/12. I readjusted the light to 16 "... Why well i figured that i would try give them the most amount of light possible at first and then keep it around that 16-18 " mark all the way through to the end. Weather or not that was a good idea or not i figured i would play around with it.

Everything seems to be going smoothly. Temps are usually hanging around that 23c / 73 f Mark during that day and at night usually drop to 18c / 64 f . Humidity is a little bit up and down with a average during the day 50 %. And around 45% at night.

73 is a little cool, I like to aim for 78-80-ish but, as you can tell, cannabis just wants to grow. ;)

That's a lot of seeds... :D

It is a little cool . But if am right by saying this i read somewhere that indicas dont mind cooler temps. Plus i really want to see if i can turn Berry Bomb purple. They say the only way to do it is cooler temps.

As far as the seeds go. I actually only ordered 3 Dinafem Blue Widow and 3 Sweet Seeds Red Poison. The rest of them were some sort of promotion freebies! I ant complaining !!!

The Autos i am excited to try out. Especially with the LED ! I read someplace else that Autos seem to do great with LEDs.

Speaking of LEDs ... I ve been flirting with the idea of adding the CLW 440w to my main tent along side the 400w. Would that Lop-side the grow? Ive been trying to find my sepcs on the 400w to the 440w and they say that the 440w is obviously more powerful 15-20% i think it says.
