Well the end is here. They are all grown up now :) Most of the plants have a great percentage of amber pistils. Lights are still performing perfectly, the uvb lights are hopefully adding to the potency. Did my last watering today, gonna harvest monday after 36 hours of darkness. Wish me luck!

I said too "long" not too late, in fact it was too early, imho. Flushing for extended periods just starves the plants when they should be packing on the flower weight. Drying and curing is more important, to me, than flushing.

I'd skip the 36 hours of darkness plan too... ;)

YMMV...

What is the reason behind the 36 hours of dark before harvest? I understand the Zero Dark 36 (ain't I witty) before flipping to flower to help promote the right hormone production but what is the idea behind the extended dark before harvest?

Thanks,

Thanks,

The idea is that if you trick it into thinking it's dark for longer than 12 hours the plant could produce more trichomes. I'm not buying that one or the 36 before flip one. ;)
