I have FF and like it. Yet I am new and really don't have anything else to compare it with yet. How ever I have been keeping a eye on Blue Planet Nutrience. See some really nice grows with that product

Bontanicare probably has the better reputation but I don't follow organics much.

YMMV...

Hello all,

OK, I have my clones ordered and they should be ready in two weeks. Back to nutrients.... the guy at my local hydro store recommended general organics GO box over much more expensive nutrients synthetic and organic. Which surprised me , I figured he would try to sell me the most expensive nutes they had. I would like to know if anyone has used them or have any suggestions on others. I don't care if they are synthetic or organic.

Thanks

gen org is the same company as general hydroponics. solid stuff. and cheap too. the go box gives you all you need too. i'd go with that advice.

i think almost all growers try different nute brands over time. all pretty much work: some might work better for you.
the nutes are probably the least important part of the whole growing equation. pH, temps, lights etc are what to focus on

I'm skeptical of nutrient lines that require more than 2-3 bottles but, as RKY said, GO has a good reputation and you can always try something else later...

I've got the full Fox Farm nutes. However last week I bought the General Organics GO box. I am actually excited to use it. The Fox Farm nutes I found are really hard to dial in for autos. My Red Poison autos I kinda F ed up. However I did manage to harvest 2.5 ounces off of 2 plants. After sitting back and re thinking my strategy I did some research in to new nutes. Lighter ones on NPK feeding. General Organics are a lot lower in NPK levels vs FF. Plus General Hydroponics have Sub Culture M and Sub Culture B which are 2 products that got me really excited.
