Bought my SolarStorm 880 a few weeks ago already. It does cast a very purple hue, in all three configurations...
I had to take mine down, for a few days, because of heavy weight issues. Now it's hung up in a slightly precarious configuration, with a safety cable as back up.

Take care of those hangars... inspect them often. These tiny winch~hangars are only a nice convenience(?)
I actually much prefer chains, as you can simply use the links as a measure.
