Hi OffTheGrid,

yes GFP should be available to growers in Canada. You should hear from CLW soon. If not, feel free to contact Brandon. His email is brandon@californialightworks.

I'm moving your post to general topic since this area is for GFP participants posting journals.

Welcome to the forums. I hope to see you post your journal here soon.

Yea its avalible. But good luck trying to get on to it. I've tried 2 times already and got a email back saying that there was to many people in my area on the GFP already however they would instead off me a 15% discount.

Now that could be the case but out of the 3 good hydro stores in the city where I live only 1 sold solar storm and the second one just picked them up about 10 months back and the other one doesn't even sell CLW. So if that s the case at the time how were there so many people on the GFP where I live when barely anyone at that time no one barely heard of CLW. And I am talking way back when I first got my 400w. I tried for a 880w but got denied. I'll try one more time when there new units come out. And if I get denied again then I'll spend my money somewhere else.

Now don't get me wrong. I LOVE my 440 and my 400 and my 110w. But I personally think that in Canada we get totally screwed by CLW cause of shipping and border fees. Growers house list the 440 w unit for $700 ... ish. Here we end up paying over $1100. And the best CLW can offer is %15 off!

I would love to try a unit bigger then the 440w. However %15 off with shipping is no different then buying one locally. Also IMO I've been keeping eyes on other units that are cheaper and have shown some very nice results. Like I said I Love CLW LEDs. But were paying almost a $400 difference
