The last two plants are now down, and they are both outstanding. The first photos are of the smaller Hawaiian Wave. The last 3 shots are of Satori, which as I have mentioned, is one of my favorites. Although this Satori isn't the largest I have grown, she is certainly the most beautiful...desert island strain and this may be my desert island stash :D

I will post some concluding thoughts about the solarstorm in the coming days...I definitely plan to keep it, but more details to follow

Alright, some final thoughts on the Solarstorm. I was going to make a list of pros and cons, but in my mind there is really only one con - the initial cost. Other than the high initial cost, I think this LED blows most any HID light out of the water...and the high cost is, in theory, offset by the lower cost in operating. A quick note on that - this is a huge pro for summer growing, but because I was growing in colder months, I had to supplement with a space heater, which pretty much negates the cost savings on the ol' electric bill.

I was conservative with the number of plants I grew - I could have easily added one or two more plants and had equally excellent results. Additionally, I obviously had the light a bit too close at some point as shown by the light bleaching on a few plants. However, it seems to me that any problems that came up were just part of the learning curve of switching to an all LED setup - my next grow with the solarstorm will hopefully be even better.

I think that's it for me! I'll check in to this forum every once in awhile in case anyone has any questions. Other than that, enjoy the pictures - really happy with these plants and excited to give them a proper drying and cure.

Happy growing and be well!
