This is when the "Winter Wheat" get's harvested. A great time of year. The key (imho) is getting new plants in as soon as possible. It is easy to rest on one's laurels but keep your eyes on the future. Hope is where it is at. :geek:

thanks guys.

i'm going to be starting 2 more seeds after the last soil plant finishes. i think i have most of the kinks out of my drain to waste setup. at least i hope so. i'm not sure how those 2 survived the pH issue i had.

onward and forward...

Dame Rights ! What are you using for your feeding? Your plants look so dame good! I ve been looking for other alternatives to Nutes and General Organics GO box is whats up next. But there's a line you guys can get that i cant called Blue Planet Nutrient that i really want to try. Especially because it comes with mycorrhiza which i am a huge fan of! Dame the US/Canadian borders for not letting Great White in!!

for the soil plants, all i used was age old organics fish/kelp formula, a bit of Ionic boost (P/K booster) 3 times after week 4 of flower and well water. didn't pH anything and watered 2x week.

the drain to waste is house&garden coco A&B and drip clean. i bought a sweet digital timer (sentinel drt1a) and i've got it on 20 secs per hour for 24hrs a day. so far it seems like the plants like it.

i want to get the big soil plant out of there so i can lower the light for the 2 plants in coco.

thanks 9/5,
i should have taken some pix of the underside of the leaves. i had a horrible spider and 2 spotted mite infestation. i tried a few things: 3000 ladybugs, a 12 hr shift in pure CO2, etc. but that is pic of what made it out alive so to speak. they only eat leaves not buds. but they are a pain in the arse to get rid of.

i read that you want the certain smell, taste etc. of what you grow. i can tell you that the pic i posted was smoked soon afterwards. it didnt smell like much or taste like much but it got you blasted stoned for a decent while. that's why i keep growing: 1 to not have to pay for smoke and 2 to try to grow the stuff that is pictured in hightimes, etc.

getting readhy to start 2 seeds. white cindy is the strain. i'm guessing cindy99 x white widow. either one is kick ass so the combo should be bueno.

hope everybody enjoys my favorite month: August!

Great journal RKY, you're right those 10 gal pots are pretty big, lol! You're still going back to hydro after this grow? Looks like the drain to waste system is worked out pretty well!

yeah, i had the 10 gal smart pots on hand. they made great stand alone tomato pots last year in my greenhouse.

the 2 pots with the smaller plants are drain to waste in Coco which is technically hydroponics. a soil-less media. those are 2 gal smart pots filled with coco and a layer of hydroton on top.

dwc required constant attention where as the drain to waste i set the pH once when I fill/refill the res and it stays there for a week until it's time to change res. i'll lose a little yield vs DWC but coco can yield way more than soil (once i get it dialed in)
