Ok, folks we made it the end of week 5.

Some leaves on sweettooth still yellowing and still evidence of tip burn from a few weeks ago. EC now is only 0.55. Just added a small (10mL) of P/K boost since my EC's are so low. Rez temps at 65 to 66. Room temps at max 77 during lights on.

But as you can see from pix, they are getting frosty!

Rkymtnman,

They are looking good & frosty!!! Hoping to see mine like that in a couple of weeks!

Curious, are you running the UV bulbs yet, or holding off until the last couple of weeks? If yes, for how long?

Thanx!

I know CLW recommends only the last half of flower for UVB but I'm pretty sure the sun kicks out UVB for all of flower so I've had it one since day one.

check out a youtube vid about UVB and MMJ. basically, the strongest MMJ grows in areas with the most UV.

My water pump took a dump over the weekend. It was just into a simple PVC tee and was used as a waterfall in my rez.

Luckily had a different pump as a spare. I decided to try a different setup vs. the waterfall. Had an old Toro 6 outlet manifold which threaded perfectly into the pump. Ran a feed line to each net pot. It looks like the plants really like having the constant feeding: seeing more new root growth than the old system was giving me.

That is one good point to DWC: if a pump does fail, as long as the roots are in the water the plant will live.

I'll have pix tomorrow. Will be end of 6th week.

Hey Rkymtnman,

Will my girls look that good in another 2 weeks?

I had to comment after reading your post.

This past weekend I was tending to my garden and thinking that I have just about all the basic equipment in place and operating..... Then I looked at the different components that I have put together....wondering which one was the weakest link(besides me)....which piece could screw me by failing...

Before leaving the room I decided that the next thing I was going to be scraping my pennies together for was a spare pump for my system! I have no idea what the service life would be on this pump, but I know when it goes I will need another one quick!! And they aren't cheap but I am planning to have one...soon.

Rkymtnman....dude, that last pic looks amazing!!! At 6 weeks...lookin real good!

I went back and looked at your earlier pics...wk 2 & 3... And from what I saw, I think my 3 week olds look like your 2 week olds. Now did you count from their first day of 12/12 or the first day you saw any signs at the nodes?
