Welcome back! Are you going to start a new journal for grow #4? ;)

I have a "journal" that is I keep notes on every grow I have done for the last four years.

This is #3 with the 800 and I really haven't done anything different except for a short (10 day) veg phase.

#4 will be done with clones of the same size (hopefully).

Independent individual testing confirms the LED grow vs HID is superior.

I mean a photo/web journal like the GFP journals... ;)

I take some pics, but it really doesn't look that much different.

One thing I have done is I ran lines across the width of the chamber so I can LST the stuff and try keeping the canopy a uniform height.

Still playing with the optimum distance.

I'm just trying to get another journal for the forums and since you're making improvements, I thought I'd suggest it. You don't have to, of course.

It takes time to get everything optimized which is one reason growing from clone is important. I'd rather have stability and optimization than a lot of variety but everyone is different... ;)

Into week #8 and still going strong.

The LST is working out and I seem to have the cloning working out much better.

I have stopped going from the clone to bloom phase with no veg phase (in the chamber).

Tell us about your cloning breakthrough?

How long are you vegging now? How tall when you flip them to flower?

Pictures? ;)

The "breakthrough" was concentrating on them after getting the crow chamber squared away with the 800.

It worked out to:

1 tsp grow and 1 tsp floricious (GH nutes) in 20 gallons of R/O @ 66 deg F.

Light is one 18 inch CFL.

I turned off the other CFL and stopped using the LED panel.

Now the clones stay very short and growth is very slow, which is great.

Well I harvested and it went well but a few things happened along the way.

My chiller went apeshit and the soup was down to 42 deg F for three days.

It didn't kill the crop, but it stressed them.

I usually gross over a pound, but this looks like 10-11 oz's at best.

Quality is still un-real.

Sorry for the delay, but nothing new to report other then another harvest underway (successful).

It is great not to have to keep replacing the bulb.

The quality is very consistent.

One thing I did do was I ran stainless wire to LST.

I did have to go back to using both CFL's in the clone chamber and I turn on the LED panel approximately two weeks before transplanting to the chamber.
