Many growers fail to complete their journals and only a handful are as detailed and and updated as often as yours which helps everyone make important decisions and it also helps grow our forum community here.

Thanks alot for the compliment. I actually like the forum format as way back in the day when the internet was first starting up mainstream it was like this alot. In the days of Facebook, Twitter and other nonsense forums are a good place for information on any subject at least for me. Probably a generational thing but Facebook for instance is just useless nonsense that fly's on the screen with constant updates. Seems senseless.

The main forum I use though is Grass City. Really dig that site. Autoflower.net is also a good one but seems more Euro centric.

Might be a good thing though I find that people who use forum sites are often the smarter people as well. They have to read :)

Update on my other grow...200w Full Spectrum Solarflare thats in my other tent. These things are growing astoundingly fast. The Wappa is the biggest followed by the Think Different. My little Dinafem Fruit is chugging right along! Its been less then 2 weeks I think!!! Not really keeping track. There done when there done :) 7 days ago I had just the first set of leaves!

Some pics of the girls. The tallest is 30 inches, then 27 and 24. There growth has just about stopped and all on bud production now. Getting a little fatter every day.

Been giving them my regular nute regiment at about 50%-60% of base nute recommendation and seem to handle it fine. Getting stinky kushy smelling now so if you grow this remember odor control/carbon fan to.

Also plant tents to be on the bigger side. I only veged to 8 inches and the tallest has increased in height almost 4x so plan it accordingly.

Im using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A/B, Advanced Nutrients Carboload, Bud Candy, Big Bud, Bontanicare CalMag, and Dutch Master Gold Silica. I only give the Sensi Bloom once a week usually on Saturday or Sunday. In every watering all the rest though. Hopefully it pays off with some heavy bud!!! Wanna see those stems fill in!

Some new pics of my Autos under the Solarflare! There a tad under 2 weeks old. Growing like crazy with pre flowers on all the plants as well now. Doesnt mean they will start flowering now though. There looking nice and green as well with no issues at all. Also included a picture of the Basil plant I have growing in there. Man she gives off a wonderful odor. I have a carbon filter but if you grew a couple of those in your grow area it would nullify alot of the odor cannabis gives off I would imagine.

Update. Almost 30 days of flowering. OG Kush # 18 is around a 8 week flower or Reserva Privada says. You guys think Im going to have fat buds? Hope so.

They have all stopped growing thankfully. The big tall one is the odd ball out but has an ice crown of buds as you can see. When it was in veg and in flowering early on they were all the same height. Its in a .8 gallon airpot so perhaps it decided to grow up rather then out. Oh well it is what it is and I will have copious bud no matter what. I grow just for myself and giving some to a buddy.

They seem to be taking to the light well. Alot of times low power LEDs create fluffy bud. I felt them nice hard compact. There smell is moderate..not the worst but enough that you have to have a carbon filter as it will only get worse. There taking well to the nute load I am giving them as well. Early on had a issue with one plant on only 2 leaves pulled back some but its now where the rest is at.

I am still hyper impressed with the Solarstorm..do I think its worth it...mmmm not for 2k. 1k perhaps but HID will give you the same results and for less imo. Not fretting it though been paid for for quite some time and I own it so have to go with it. I do think though that there is much to be said for Full Spectrum lighting.

The only way to stop a live plant from growing is to kill it or wait for it to die on it's own, after flowering, but you could bend and tie it down a little so it's not as tall as it wants to be. I wouldn't suggest cutting it at this point. Remember these plants will grow 2-3 times taller than when it went into flower by time it finishes, assuming there's enough light and the stretch isn't due to searching for light. Sometimes it's genetics sometimes it's not enough light....sometimes it's both. Sativa and sativa dominate plants will stretch more than indica and indica dominate strains. There are nutrient supplements that claim to reduce the flowering stretch but I'm not sure that I'd believe that.

For me, I'd either choose different genetics next time or flower earlier. Since you flowered those pretty small, you're probably looking at finding genetics that are better suited to growing indoors or increasing the amount of w/sqft to try to combat the stretch. If I remember correctly, you have a decent w/sqft ratio but all of my growing experience is either outdoors (decades ago) or indoors with HID so perhaps the LED isn't giving the plant what it wants, spectrum wise. There are other methods that some growers suggest to reduce the flowering stretch but I like to keep it simple so I won't go into that here. I'd definitely be concerned at the space between internodes, it looks like you're growing stems, which is not what you want. Great for hemp fiber not so good for meds. ;)

YMMV...

Yea I had those OG Kushes on hand. Think it was the genetics. Light was always low and for a long while they where all short and compact then all of a sudden big stem stretch. Oh well...buds still look good and they are pretty plants I think.

I had a strain (Nepalese Dragon - from Ministry) do something similar... when I switched to bloom mode it was 12" tall and grew another 26" in 25 days... big stretch... I've had it outside now for almost a week and its looking a lot better.... so my thought is a combination of the strain plus the specific bloom light was an issue... as I said in full sun now its really growing well... I will upload some pictures by this weekend on my blog...

After 25 days of 12/12 your stretch was pretty much over anyway so the only way to tell, for sure, is to put clones (not seedlings) from the same plant under different lights to see if one light isn't performing as well as it should. The Sun should outperform a LED during flower but I can do better than the Sun with large HPS lights in veg... ;)
