Sorry, the 200w SF doesn't even put out 200w so it's probably closer to a 150-175w HID like the SS is really closer to a 600w HID.

I am curious about how well your autos will perform but they're really not for me. I prefer to work with clones than to pay a premium price for seeds each grow but that's just me... ;)

Is more then 12 hours of darkness good or bad?

I have not been using a timer this go around. Read a interesting Wired Mag article on there website that the governments Warrantless Search's which they swore up down left right would never be abused is now used so often the only other thing the government uses more often is the Interstate Commerce Act. No one has to sign off on it and they use if for everything. Whats interesting is its starting to be used at lower levels. They literally use it to build a case against unknown people vice getting a lead and exploiting that.

Anyhow one of the big things they do now is they have been subpoenaing power companies looking for usage patterns so I have varied when I turn on my lights. My light times are around 7pm to to about 630-7am. I figure that a usage going down when I am work is expected then a usage going home in the evening is expected and it varies a little so it doesn't look automated.

They literally just have been randomly getting a warrantless search warrant and digging through random trash..oh hey Bob found something. Then they target you. All without any form of suspicion.

Any thoughts?

My killawatt says 165w. Give or take a few watts.

Yeah, 165w is what CLW says too; I just don't think they make a 165w HID. ;)

Depends on where you live and historic usage I guess. I doubt that they'd really notice less than 1000w, especially since it's on at night. Here in SoCal, I run 2kw and I've never worried about it but when I bump it to 4kw I'll keep 2 different flower rooms so one is on while the other is off and it'll appear to be 2kw but on all of the time. No spikes that way. Furthermore usuage alone doesn't mean jack, there are plenty of legal reasons and even legal indoor crops to explain usage. So, imho, they'd need more than just how fast your meter spins or when.

YMMV...

Oh, and to answer your question about dark...plants need light for energy so you can use less light but your plants and yield will suffer. I wouldn't even turn off the light for 12 hours if it wasn't needed to flower. YMMV... ;)

Some new pics. Buds are getting bigger by the day. Its very thrilling since they seem small at first and you get bummed but then the weight gain comes and they start filling in. I think I will have a good harvest at least I hope so.

So far no issues with this strain just the tallness of them but thats my own fault. They have taken nutes very well, but Ive only given them 50% of what AN says for Sensi Grow/Bloom all the rest given max strength.

I doubt it would really hurt much but you can get a cheap timer virtually anywhere that can handle 12/12...

I seriously doubt the feds are looking for small grows like yours, the feds don't usually care about grows less than 100 plants and they can't monitor everyone. I think you're being paranoid but if that helps you sleep at night then be paranoid. :P
