Quick update on my DWC plants. I have 1 Superbud, 1 OG Kush # 18, and 1 Super Lemon Haze. The Superbud and OG Kush are growing nicely...roots are now extending below the net pot. The SLH is looking kinda sick. The stem to the leaves is starting to turn yellow. Not sure if its going to make it. My OG Kush in my Smart Pot is growing like mad as well. If the SLH doesn't make it no sweat got plenty more of them in seeds and actually kinda relieved since I have a lot going on in my 1 bedroom apartment LOL. Also have a San Marzano Tomatoes plant going on and a Basil plant..both are good!

Sounds like you have a jungle in there. You probably know this but some plants just a pain in the ass. I have one now that is going on twelve weeks, and all the leaves are yellow, and all the pistols are still white. h

Heres a update of the plants that will soon go into my main tent. I have them under the Blackstar while the other 3 are finishing up. The little small one is the Super Lemon Haze, the biggest one is a week ahead of the rest and its a Green House Seeds Superbud, others are OG Kush #18. I have a feeling she won't make it. Its a runt.

Thanks man. Now that they have roots...cept the SLH how far from the water should the net pots be? I have them about a inch below them. Should I continue to top feed?

I would top feed til I saw roots. You want to keep the water pretty close during veg. The idea is to keep your medium wet, and without a pump, and feed line, you're relying on the splashing of the bubbles to do so. By week 3-4 it will be drinking a quart a day, and you won't be able to keep them that close. h

Yeah, that's basically it. Water level should be .5" - 1.0" below the bottom of the net pots, top feed until the roots hit the water and make sure your air stone(s) aren't clogged; lots of bubbles = good.

Sad day I had to tear the Super Lemon Haze out and trash it. It was tiny and very shriveled. Oh well. Other plants are doing well. About 2 weeks from harvest on my Wappa, and 2 Afghan Kush's. The actual subject of this grow is doing well to. I got 1 OG Kush in a 3 gallon Smart Pot, 1 Superbud in a bubbler, and 1 OG Kush in one as well.

I had another Super Lemon Haze in a 3 gallon Smart Pot but gave it to my friend who's a fellow grower. Were gonna see how his 1000w HID and all home grown organic nutes compares to the Solar Storm using Advanced Nutrients. I will upload pics as he emails me them over time.

My Afghanies are getting hella fat now. Stinky to.

I also have a San Marzano tomato plant going in a 3 gallon smart pot and a Basil Plant going in a small pot I had lying around. Im a Chef by trade now so look forward to San Marzano's. Most have never heard of that tomato but in Italy there grown on the side of Mount Vesuvius and have a unique sweet taste and look from the volcanic soil it grows in. In Italy that is the only tomato that is designated for a real pizza. Its also producted by the EU food authorities. Here in the US you can get them canned but there pricey 3-5 dollars per large can...make the best sauce you've ever tasted though. You can think of them as Italy's Vidalia Onion.

As the Sister says, More bubbles = good. The air pumps they give you arent real great. If you decide to stick with hydro youll want to invest in a good one. The one I have is an 80L per min, and the one they give you is about an 80L per hr.

Sorry to hear about your loss. good thing you germed axtras ;)

Love Pizza! Think you can mail me a slice? Lol. h
