Hello everyone.. I have a quick question and wanted to just throw it out there. It might seem a little off topic but this thread seems to have some people commenting who will obviously reply... Ok, so we all know the HID claim to fame is the all might YIELD, but this got me thinking. Is it the light source or something about the light source that is actually causing HID systems to generate more yield? I did notice a huge dip in ambient temperature when switching from HID to LED, would increasing ambient temps to say 85*F (where my room used to stay under HID lighting) be helpful? The quality of flower has improved dramatically since making the switch to LED and the HUUUUUGE savings in electricity has also helped but i think maybe even a small space heater could help increase the temp of my room and then help make up for the 10% loss in yield i experienced. Does any of this make sense or am i just looking down a rabbit hole?
Any suggestions on canopy temps would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance, and keep em growing. Looks great
