So has anyone used a "Solarstorm"? Ive been using LED's for 2 years now, and I am Quite Happy with the results. Now they have excepted me to there test program, and in exchange they would like me to post a diary here. So, is there any other peeps who have tried them? h

I haven't seen the Solarstorm. Right now I'm using a Prosource 90W and will be getting another in the next couple of months. Veg was surprisingly good. And, so far, bud development is doing well also. Welcome and I look forward to seeing your results. :D

Thanks for the response Bro. I have several Blackstar 240's, (4 flower, and 2 veg) and I am really happy with them, all the tops are rock hard nugs, but I was really wanting some thing with more penatration. Like to see rock hard buds everywhere! Try some of GH's KoolBloom in your last 3 weeks or so, makes a huge difference in bud size and maturity;) Peace. h

High Y'all: I am a licensed medical cannabis user who is just getting into growing my own medicine. So far I have a tiny cupboard with a 150w HPS light supplimented with 2 T5s growing a single plant... I can tell from the light ariy but very fragrent bud this produces that a 150w HPS light is not really sufficiant for flowering. I can get a harvest, but not enough to meet all my nneds. However I am on a disability pension that barely covers my basic living expenses, so I got what I could afford...

Then I found out about the feedback program and I'm delighted to be accepted. So my intention is to set up a grow tent 4x4 and grow 4 plants to start. I am DELIGHTED to be accepted. I have been reading about LEDs with great interest & for a while was on a facebook group exploring using LEDs to flower... with great success I might add.

I've used soil mix so far and I think that I will continue to do so. While I am new to growing cannabis I have grown vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs in containers indoors or on my balcony for many years. I enjoy tending plants and when I first got sick I was in such dispair... Working with plants, tending them, nurturing them & watching them thrive was so soothing, uplifting and positive, I am really looking forward to the "Occupational theraputic opportunity" to do so while I can still do it.

I was impressed with the specs on the SolarStorm LEDs...
This technology is developing so quickly... just last year the general consensus was that LEDs were fine for veg, but not for blooms... The facebook group I was on for blooming on LED, the fella that set up the group was very impressed (I don't know what kind was being used, just that him and some other fellas that had them, were very pleased with the energy savings, the cooler temps & the way their medicine turned out...

So, I cannot wait to try these!

Hope everyone has a great day and happy growing y'all!

I agree with hemivette, the results should be much better. That SolarStorm should kick a 150w light's imaginary rear end. I wouldn't even use a 150w light for clones and seeds but I completely understand having a budget to deal with. ;)

BTW, that SolarStorm puts out much more heat than lesser LED lights so make sure you can get that heat out of your tent too...
