O.k. guys I have the Lumo Grow 650 Pro. It is actually in a 2x4x7 gorilla grow tent right now. It may be too much but the fact is; it is in there and has 6 5 gal hydro buckets under it. I am having a hard time with my temp if the tent is closed up. I really don't believe it is the light; just inferior exhaust and inlet air. I have a TT 4" for exhaust and was trying passive inlet air. I bought it for low noise but am afraid it isn't enough. Anyway; back to the light. It's why I am writing this response to the person wanting somebody to respond who has this light. I got it. Now; for my first question. How do I use this %^#& thing? Nate didn't give me alotta info on it but I didn't ask much either. Did I mention this is my first indoor grow? Yeah ....done outside back in the day.....I really mean back....the 70's. I'm wanting to learn this indoor stuff and dove in head first. 4 weeks in with a mix of Tai and Diesel in the tent. Took clones a couple days ago.Looking o.k. to me but all i got is the internet and one compadre who is 8 months ahead of me with halide. I am thinking of going to 12/12 next week. I wanted to give some heal time to them. The adjustment of the light spectrum is greek to me at this point. I have it running on blue-9 / white-8 / red-8. I read somwhere that they (Lumi Grow) tell you to crank it up but I don't have a clue. I know it needs more blue light than red early on and the reverse in flower stage. How do I "tune" this thing? I will accept all the help you have to give. All comments welcome. I hope to fit in here and look forward to sharing.

Welcome to the forums!

(I split your post since the other thread was dead and you're asking for help)

The heat is coming from someplace and the light is the obvious suspect unless your ambient temps are high too...

I've often said that the fine tuning output is a gimmick but you're mostly right; less red in veg - more red in flower. in flower "cranked up" is probably best.

If you want to try closer move it down a few inches at a time and look for signs of heat stress... ;)

This isn't a very high volume forum (as you can tell by all of the older dead threads) but there are a few people that chime in from time to time.

Started my first indoor grow in February with Lumi Grow 330es. I Started with the blue cranked up like they said. Kept it about 12" from plant as it grew to twelve inches I let the plant get closer to 6" from the leds. This took about eight weeks then I turned
up the red leds all the way. My little ladies are now 49" and 44" smells sweet. The only problem is that I think the lights were too
close at one time about 2" for a couple of days. These lights are strong, they give the right spectrum. I didn't think it was giving
off enough light . So don"t get fooled like me the light don"t have to be right on top of the plants. If you starting from seeds just the white for the first few inches. Like I said earlier this is my first indoor grow.
You maid a good choice going with Lumi Grow.Let us know how it's coming along.

Being a first time indoor grower I chose Lumigrow ES330, I was concerned about the heat and cost. Although the heat is lower
the cost of running it adds about thirty dollars a month. The cost wasn't that bad about $1250.00 .The cola is about 12" long, with
a diameter of 4'.I prefer the es30 to the 650 because the way the leds are set up ,length wise. which ever you choose you made a good choice.

Next Grow I'll keep the light further away from the plants I bleached the top of the plant. This never happening before since
this is my first indoor grow. I think I'll take a little more time setting up my next grow and not be so aggressive by clipping
off some fan leaves .I can see the change in the growth of the cola after I cut the leaves.I turned a beautiful flowering plant
into a skinny ma link. But they still smell sweet. Another three weeks and I'll let anyone who is interested know

Paradise, Just this past week I came home from a weekend out to find the tops of 1 plant and 2 colas from another had what looked like white cotton balls on top......first time i have ever seen this....looks wild....anyway....light bleaching. I have kept my light 20-24 inches away from the plants the whole time. 6 plants total. The bleached plants were directly under the light in the middle of my tent. the other 4 closer to the walls had no problems. Does this clear up ? I turned my red to about 5-6 / white to 4 / blue to 4. Trying to get this to go away.....I had been keeping the red cranked to 10....with white and blue around 6.I am in 4-5th week of flower with nice buds on all the plants...Any ideas to help? As two led newbies....we should talk...Any response is appreciated....Later...Newguy

Some close-up pictures, in normal lighting, might help but it's either bleaching or it could be something less sinister. *shrug*
