Hi,

I have been using an Appollo 18, 600Watt Led for around 12mths and I am lost with the amount of crap on the net regarding its use and the manufacturers claims v.s. real life.

Originally it was hung stationary but because of its long narrow footprint I made up a light-mover and lowered it closer to the plants.
At the moment it is 12" above the plants. It moves to one end pauses for two minutes, return to the other end takes two minutes then it pauses for two minutes and repeats. total travel is 3 feet end to end on the track covering around 1.2 sq yds (1m sq plus)

The top of plants directly below the Led receive up to 90k lux plus at the peak.

I dont veg. I take cuttings and 6-8 weeks later i put them in flower. About 80 plants in 4" (2L) pots in each batch. I keep them all tied down as much as possible. max height is about 12-16"

any advice on its use is much appreciated. I am having trouble attaching pictures even at 500kb it says file too big.

Welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately, there is a lot of hype and misinformation on the web, especially with those cheap chinese lights. I'm not a believer in light movers, I prefer to use the right size space for my light, or vice-versa.

If you're not "vegging" then what are the clones doing for 6-8 weeks? :?

Try resizing pictures to about 800x600 (adj for landscape) and see if that helps... ;)
