Hi Everyone,

This is my first post in the forum. I hope the experts here can give me some advice on how to deal with the following situation. I have a 90 gallon, 4ft long aquarium where I grow aquatic plants. I recently installed 3-50W led flood lights roughly 7" above the surface. Unfortunately, the dispersed light floods my room and I'm looking for a way to prevent that. The seller told me that the beam angle is 180 deg but I believe it may be 120 deg. Anyways I basically want a way to block the dispersed light coming from each fixture. Some aquarium forums have suggested a Fresnel lens to collimate the light, but I feel the magnification of light may be a factor and may burn my plants. I was also thinking of some sort of a plywood case around each light.

Let me know what you think?

Thanks
