Yes, but for those of us who are used to 30 degree weather, 60 is very nice......... ;)
We exchange the heat for universal health care and college tuition that is about 1/4 that of our southerly friends........ ;)
But I do like California, half my family lives there!

I'm not sure that 30F weather is legal in Southern California...I think cities need special permits to get that cold. :P

No, you exchange high taxes, quality/timely healthcare and freedom for universal healthcare and discounted college tuition but that's another debate for another forum. :D

Hi all:

Was busy with changing MMAR laws and rules events and input the past two months. The government has phased out patients growing their own medical needs plants now. Not even one. It has now become the realm of commercial growers, and the regulations for antimicrobial testing and clean room prep and script fulfilling rules is much more stringent.

The result of this in a person that sees things from all angles is that quiet home growing will flourish even more. And changes to LED light use for less energy consumption and heat signature will grow even more.

Drive people underground.........and more people to forums like this.

The primary reason I came today is to update my grow forum. You can see my yield and crystallization is making my mouth water. Ahhhhhhh. Actually have started harvesting and using more DiamondBrites from Greenlamp in another room for new seeds and clones.

Also with the SNAP hydroponics slowly and steadily upped the EC to 1.90 and added occasional calcium, changed DiamondBrites to 12 hr on/ 12 hr off

Wow, too bad you didn't update your journal for two months; it would have been nice for people to be able to ask questions and to see the progression which is what a "grow journal" is all about. Without regular updates it's impossible to know what happened in between and jumping to the end really makes it a "grow report." :(

I doubt any law could stop all of the personal growers, it's just too much fun growing your own. ;) The biggest problem with your theory is that the reduced "energy consumption" also comes with reduced yield and only a slight heat reduction but, it seems, all manufacturers try to sell the same myths so people will buy their lights. I know you want to sell lights, like every company does, but the sales propaganda really is off-putting....to me at least. :(

Since you started harvesting already, what kind of yield are you estimating? Do you think you'll go over a pound based on what you've already harvested? Are you going to start a new journal that will be regularly updated?

Hi all, my name is Luke OReilly and I have sold the DiamondBrite lights under the Apollo name for years. They are made in China by a company called Cidly. While they are great lights now they did have issues in the early days. I just wanted to set the record straight by saying that the DiamondBrite LED grow lights are NOT made in Canada, it is possible that they have the parts send in from China and the lights are assembled here in Canada. Very nice grow btw. Thanks for reading.

I noticed that "Assembled in Canada" line in their website earlier too. ;)

Cidly lights are crap like the company that makes them, nothing but copies and knock-offs of other lights. You said it yourself, you sold them as Apollo brand (which were copies of *other* LED lights) which had bad reviews too. They spammed this site so much when it started they got all of China banned here by the owner. They even had employees *pretending* to be customers or potential customers trying to spam their lights but it was easy to put the company and the spammer together.
