all 3 are the same strain. aurora indica which is supposed to be 100% indica. only one has the really fat leaves like it's supposed to. maybe i've got a few different phenos going on.

any outdoor growers know when she'll start to flower? i know it relates to length of the day and where you are at in the world. does mid-September sound about right? i'm a bit concerned because we normally get our first snow in October and I don't want to worry about frost/freezing messing up my harvest. i might bring her in and finish inside instead. but for now i'll let her enjoy mother nature's free light.

thanks!
RKY

The "fingers" seem so long and thin for Indica, maybe a hybrid but it sure doesn't look 100% Indica to me. Perhaps phenotype explains since they're from seed...

Check calendar-365.com for length of day.

That doesn't mean that it won't "start" a little before then though.

thanks for day length site. ain't the internet great?

that is pretty late in the season. 8 wks from then and i'll be skiing (hopefully  ) might have to come up with plan B instead.

if i was to bring it in to flower soon, how much do you think it might stretch? if a plant is already pretty large, does it stretch similar to smaller plants (double or triple in size?)

Yeah, they sure can; that's partly why outdoor plants get so tall. You can block the light inside the greenhouse (except for 12 hours) to start her earlier if it's too big to bring inside...

Day 51: Chopped down one plant yesterday. Was at about 30% amber. The second plant is still mostly cloudy, few amber so I'm gonna let her go for now.

Have 2 test plants in my drain to waste Coco setup. So far so good. They are recovering from a pH issue I had a few weeks ago that is now fixed. They looked pretty rough but are getting better now.
