Things are rolling along very nicely. Nothing overly concerning to update on but the Heavyweights are now definitely showing sex !

Ok Back again ! Everything seems to be going ok. I am learning quickly with autos and leds that i find one of the hardest things IMO is to regulate the the distance between the LED and the plant canopy. Autos are very finicky when it comes tho that. I guess Photos are as well but with the growing cycle of the autos its seems like if the lights are to low they only grow so much. But to far away and they stretch to much. Ok so this is i guess normal for any plant but given there shorter life cycle i still haven't found a great distance between them. These guys seem to be doing ok the start of week 5. There well over a foot. Measuring in around 14 inches. Lights are up to 24 inches above the canopy right now.

Also ! I am still swearing buy the Terpinator ! Start of week 5. Buds are now just starting to form. Nice white hairs all over but in one of the pics you'll see how much crystal is starting to pour out !

Also in the last pic ill post is my prop tent which i have 5 HSO Blue Dreams started. I planted them yesterday morning so now its wait a couple days and see what happens. There is 5 cups but i think that ill only be growing 4 out of the 5 cause i am pretty sure my 3x3 tent isn't going to fit all 5. I was planning on only picking out the best 4.

blue dream was a great strain for me to grow and enjoy. are yours autos or fems?

how often do you change out those exhale bags? how many do you use? what size is the space they are in?

Most of the time i only use 2 in my 3x3 tent... But since the Sugar Black Rose tent kinda shit the bed for me i moved the bag in to the tent along with the only surviving SBR. So as of right now there is 3 in there. But i ve been waiting for the Blue Dream to get a little bit bigger and i was going to stick one in my prop tent. I find that they usually are good for up to 3 months. I dont mind them especially at veg time cause i dont keep my 6 inch fans going at that time. So the CO2 bags seem to be a not bad for it. Well i am not going to say go out and grab one. But for the price i feel they do just fine !!!!

Speaking of Blue Dream ... How fast to germ were yours.... NO JOKE i literally sunk them left them for 12 hours put them in to a paper towel dish for 12 hours and they had tails so i threw them in to the solo cups and not shitting you at all with in 3 days of all that they all sprouted..... That is the fastest i have ever had seeds come through. And on that note since planting them on Saturday till now they already have there first set of jagged leaves coming out.... that is buy far none the fastest i have ever had seeds come. There actually 2-3 days ahead of what i fist figured there time line would be. AND There fems not autos ! lol...... tho they seem to think there autos lol

Did you look in to the Terpinator RKY its basically just liquid potash. Not really a new concept. I grew up on a farm and farmers have been using potash for a very very long time in grain fields. But honestly dude. i can say that i really does work. The hydro store i go to has went threw so much of it as of late they started bringing in the 5 gallon buckets cause they cant keep up with demand for it.

I did however place a order in to that Seed City. I finally got a couple strains coming that one i have been waiting for them to replace and one that will be interesting. Cannaboigen Peyote Purple is one i have wanted for a long time now. And i think i lucked out cause i was able to snag Dank Genetics Ghost Train Haze Fems which look really fun! also for my freebies i took Barneys Farm Pineapple chunk.

Hey RKY i did go pick up one more thing..... i broke down cause the price was right and bought a GH Water Farm ! I am not going to run it for a bit until the soil blue dreams are done. But i am excited to try it out !!!

the blue dreams i did were clones so they were ready to go from day 1. i always wondered if the age of the seeds from the breeders affect how soon or late they "pop"? so far, only 1 seed has not sprouted for me (knocking on wood)

i did check out the terpinator. and you are correct, it just gives the plants a K boost. when i was using Ionic nutes a long time ago, they had one product called Boost that was basically just a P/K additive which the plants need when they are heavy into flowering. I just changed over to H3AD's formula for Coco and I'm not going to add anything else just yet. only a vitamin/hormone booster that I use all thru the grow normally.

I'll go ahead and give you a Welcome to Hydro a bit early. you will be amazed at the growth potential of DWC in the Waterfarm whenever you start using it. I'll give you 2 pieces of advice for when you do start going hydro: use Lucas Formula for your nutes (8ml Micro/16mL Bloom per gallon). and pick up some type of root zone additive. I personally tried a lot of them and had the most success with DutchMaster Zone. the key to DWC is keeping your roots nice and white and healthy. root rot is really easy to get and it's hard to get rid of and it will kill your plant eventually.

Thanks for the advice.. i was kinda getting a bit nervous about how to do the nutes. But the pack does come with general hydros 3 part flora series and i was just going to go off what the feed chart says. When i do start everything i was going to pick up Rapid Start as well and try them out. As far as the Florolisious goes i have tons of similar stuff along those lines. Fox Farm Bembe Green Planet Massive and Liquid Weight and last but not least my fav Terpinator !

here's my take on hydro: huge rewards and pretty high risk. if everything is OK, you'll have huge results. if you get problems, things can go very bad very quick. what i liked about the DM Zone is that you can use it weak if your reservoir temps are OK or use it strong if your temps are too warm.

the lucas formula is great for 2 reasons: it's nutrient profile NPKMg is specifically for cannabis. if you use 0 ppm water, your pH is almost always around 5.6 to 6.0 so you rarely if ever adjust pH.

Ok so i know that my auto journal kinda fell apart due to my laptop one day deciding it was time to die....... and along with it all my pictures. Honestly that kinda took the wind out of my sails.... And if that wasn't the icing on the cake my phone took a bath at work which finished off all my pics lol... It really has not been a good last couple of months for me and electronics ! Anyway. The Fast and Vast i ended up harvesting 7.5 ounces dry which was ok but no where near what Heavyweight says they can do and on top of that i watched other journals on other sites kinda have the same results. i wish i could post pics but like i said i have none to post. So i figure i would at least post something to kinda finish off this journal. I posted at one point pics of my HSO Blue Dreams just starting out. WELL...... They did pretty dame good ! Theres one week lest to harvest and they smell AWESOME!!!! I am super excited to see what the finish results are going to be.

Now there was some small.... very small problems with them one mainly being temps... The temps were fluctuating in my grow room over the winter months which kinda stunned 1 plant how ever i am not disappointed by it cause the stunned one turned out to be one of the thickest cola plants. BUT on the long run i do want to say that Green Planet Nutrients is got to be the best line of nutes i have yet used to date ! There line is simply good! Very easy to use and there additives for all around results and price i dont think theres to much out there that can compete. Terpinator is still my fav ! I have crystals actually growing on the water leafs.. Anyway heres some pics to enjoy and ill try post some harvest pics next week sometime.

PS i am starting my waterfarm project next. I already have a Cali Connection Grape OG in my Prop tent and in a rapid rooter.

Well like i said i would try post some before harvest pics. So all four plants did not to bad. With the exception of one... No mater what i did to her she just seemed to struggle yet she was the biggest one of them all. The other 3 i kept kinda short cause if there is one thing i have learn t is that growing 4 Blue Dream in a 3x3 tent in 5 gallon pots.... might of not been the greatest idea lol..... However some of the yields were pretty good .... The shortest plant actually kicked out a wet weight of 409 g the others were along the 200-300 marks... In grand total for WET weight for all 4 was 1268g
