You are right. I didnt mean CFL. I did mean CLW. Did I mention I was starting to sample.
I think I rember reading that LED grows take a little longer. I think mine are finishing early.
As for when to use the UV. I found some studies that said MJ''s growth and health is unaffected. The studies also said that the higher the UV the higher the THC content of the trichomes. I started using UV as soon as there were buds forming.

Final Results
Yeald was slightly less than my other grows but that could be caused by manyh factors. Over all quality and potency has improved with the Solar Storm Lighs. Bud density varied between strains as is expected, but, the strains I have keeped growing over the years produced slightly bigger and denser buds than I was getting with my other grows.
Heat from the lights was easily manage.
The design of the light itself is solid. I hope I never have to try to open it up to repair/replace parts. I will have to beleive they will last with out problems. How about minor dust getting into the lights via the fan? Will that ever be a problem? Should I use compressed air every once in a while to try and remove the dust?
Over all I am happy with the light. If they last me about 5 years they will have paid for themselves compaired to ... say a 1000w light and replacement bulbs and the occasional ballast.
I really need a total of (4) SS 400w lights for my grow. Maybe the prices will come down in a year or so.
I thank CLW for allowing me this oppertunity. I will not be returning the ligbhts. At the very least the GFP is a great marketing stragety, and at worst . well there is no worst. Its all good.
Best of luck to all new participants.
