Hello. Doing my part for the GFP. Thank you again CLW for the deal, the light and the outstanding customer service. I can tell you right now, I ain't sendin' this som beech back :D

Ok got my light about two weeks ago and done setting up. It's my 2nd grow ever. Had decent success with the 1st one but had a bout with gnats & lack of light so i'm hoping to do a little better this time.

Using a 4x4 tent, 165 cfm inline fan with can filter 9000, one ocsillating fan (adding another on payday), a big ass dehumidifier (not used 'till flowering), my new SS400 along with a Pro Grow 260 (just because I had it from my first grow and I thought it'd be a shame not to use as much power as I could).

Growing 2 regular Dairy Queens (TGA Subcool) 1 feminized Chocolope Kush (DNA Genetics) 1 feminized Vanilla Kush (Barney's) & 1 feminized Afghan Kush x White Widow (World of Seeds). Growing in 2.5 gallon pots with about a 60%/40% coco coir/perlite mixture with General Hydroponics nutes. Temp is 81-85 F and humidity is 35-38%. All have sprouted after 5 days except the Afghan but I have a feeling it's coming (it was the free one from TSSC anyway so no big deal).

I don't plan to get too crazy with 'em since i'm still learning, plan to FIM once or twice and then just let 'em roll. I have pots marked and will point 'em out better in future posts but you know, they're like real babies now, they all look alike.

Thanks in advance for any & all suggestions. Take care!

P.S. The extremely ghetto string contraption I had hanging up my SS has since been replaced with a slightly less ghetto hanger that goes up & down. Also, my camera has focus problems. There is in fact not a solid perlite coating on top of the two plants on the right, my camera is just the suck (i'll try to fix that as the grow goes on, just got excited & wanted to start) Peace!!

Duly noted Sister, thanks! Here they are so far a little under two weeks from seed. Temps & humidity are the same. No gnats yet:) Feeding nutes about half strength every other watering. Trying the 'less is more' approach. Also, the Afghan x White Widow popped finally and is doing great! Here are pics. Peace!

..........and moving right along. So far so good. The SS400 is nice & quiet and humming along well, the plants seem to really like it. Planning on FIM'ing this coming weekend 'cept for the lil' one. Peace!

Howdy. Had a little excitement this week. FIM'ed my two DQs & the Chocolope. Didn't touch the Vanilla or the Afghan since they are ridin' low already. Things were cool then it got really hot where I live for about 4 days & the plants got a lil' upset. I then took it upon myself to run a tube from the central air duct right into the tent (extra ghetto of course, my wife loves it) and lowered it to about 79 degrees so that's cool. The new leaves look good on all of 'em so I plan to start flowering next Tuesday since I'm just in it for personal and not overly concerned with yield. Thanks and have a great week!

Howdy folks. Had a good week. The temps are cooler & hopefully going to stay that way. All five plants are looking good, nice & low and the three I FIM'ed look to be recovering well. I switched the lights to 12/12 Friday. Will be looking to sex the DQ's as they're the only non-feminized ones. Have a great week!

Those look pretty small, how tall were they when you flipped and what kind of plant density do you have?

Short was my intention although being my 1st time growing in a tent my temps were too high the first couple weeks and I'm sure that didn't help growth. A couple of them are just under 6" and a couple are just over 4" and one riding super low at 3". I figured I'd run out of smoke right around turkey day and I wasn't willing to spend the holidays weedless so I thought I'd grow some shorties.

Here's my layout with usually 3 under the SS and 2 under the PG & I switch around after feedings.

You could have increased the density since you flipped them small. Also, I'm not sure that you need the PG light and it kind of dilutes the CLW GFP grow too because you can't tell what growth is from the SS and what is from the PG with that setup. ;)

YMMV...
