LED Grow Light Forum

Good morning. I'm a new CLW SS400w GFP member and I'll be pleased to report on the progress of my grow over the next 90 days. I received my light yesterday, it was in excellent shape and first light was uneventful. While not as bright (to my eye) as a 400w HPS, reportedly the light will perform as well as a 600w HPS.

I'll be growing a variety of medium and hot peppers. I have a heritage seed collection on the UPS truck now, they should arrive in a couple of days. Looking forward to some nice christmas pepperage!

FYI: It won't perform as well as a 600w HPS, maybe not even as well as a 400w HPS but they do work well for peppers so you should have a very nice crop.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your setup and progress.
