Welcome to the forums!

In hydro, you'll probably want to keep that pH around 5.8, anything over 6 is too high.
60% RH is probably OK in veg if you don't have powdery mildew problems.

GH saw you coming a mile away, how much do you spend on additives? ;)

As you probably know, we have another member here that uses the aeroflo so he might have more advice for you...

Don't forget the pictures!

SME, I'm hoping that he can give me some!! LOL

Hey Beast,

Welcome!

I think I am who SME mentioned... I'm happy, I run an Aeroflo60. I don't have a lot of experience, but have made enough mistakes to learn a little...lol Currently on 2nd grow with my Aeroflo (only running 4 grow chambers this time)....so I don't know who can guide who, but hopefully some of each!

I can tell you a little about powdery mildew...IT SUX!!! THAT is why my current grow is called a Salvage Grow!!

What Strain are you growing? How many & spacing? If you are using every site they are close so make sure you have plenty of air circulation...tops and bases!! I think RH of 45 would be great, but I would try to keep it away from 60%. And IMO, I would let the room temp creep up a little higher during light period... SME?

Good luck!!

Happy 8-)

Good catch on the temps there Happy; they should be higher especially during the day.

To happy weeds I try to fill as many spots as I can I run a 3x3 scrog net, basicly everything under the net get trimmed off, usually 6 to 9 will do the trick..space them out every other one.

As far as powdery mildew is concerned I cant help u there ive never had that problem thx god

Now for week 2 update
No defiencys, super tight internode spacing from the ss400..and honestly impressed
Room temps still 68-74 night/day, I would like to see 78 but it 20degres outside so it is what it is
Room humidity 45-57
Res temp 64-67 @ all time thank u water chiller
Blue lab guardian meter if u dont have one get one precision 24/7 with built in silent alarm
Ec. .7-1.0. or 350ppm to 500ppm more is not always better imho.
As far as the water schedule in aeroflo I run the pump non stop with the lights on..
Lights go out 15min on/15min off.
When I ran the pump 24/7 In the past I would get puffy leaves saggy leaves put it on the timer problem fixed.

Im not going to talk about strains this run its really not important, this is really about the California lightworks ss400.
Bottem line I am here to see if its going to perform.so far no complaints

If u need help with any hydroponics system especially aeroflo, dwc,or ebb n flo just ask and ill get back to you..ive done them all with great success

Your journal should include the strain(s) you're growing, even if they're just unknown bagseeds, so others can learn too.

Also, pictures help in a web grow journal. :)
