LED Grow Light Forum

I received my 440 about a 1 1/2 months ago. I have to say I am really pleased. I started flowering my auto kush under this light and it produced amazing results. I only got 32 grams out of the plant but I am so happy to have my first harvest under my belt The plant that was growing under the 220 veg master wasn't doing so good so I put it out side until I got my 440. Out in the sun the planted started to flower fro a couple of weeks until I got my new light. When I put it under the 440 on bloom mod for 18 off 16 on it was amazing. I cant wait to start a new crop with the light on veg mode. I will upgrading my tent to a 48x48x76 sizes tent so I can use the light to the fullest . I will be growing 1 auto Northern light 1 Red dwarf auto and 1 Skunk#1 auto under the new setup. I will be using General Hydroponics flora grow series and Liquid Karma with some CalMag if needed. I look forward to doing a complete grow log with picture. I even purchased a really good camera

There isn't anything cooler than a bunch o jars showing what the last round was...and giving possibilities of the next batch.

I will be starting my new grow journal as soon as my three gallon air pots get in. Has anyone ever used the air pots and if so what was the results? Any advice would be great.

I've used them. Still have them. And absolutely love them! The only thing I find with them is don't be scared to give them a bit of a aggressive packing as you layer upwards. The video they show how your supposed to twist and shake them to get the dirt to fill the inside is kinda BS. The first watering I gave my plants that were in them the soil dropped about a 1.5" and lots of loose stuff flowed right out the holes. I packed my Pro-Mix in to them this go around and it makes life easier. Also go slow when watering for the first time. Trust me. You'll find out why. Other then that. I completely believe the results are awesome. I would use them again but I bought Hercules Pots that kinda have the same premises but cheaper

Okay I am ready to start my journal. Today is 4 August 2014. I am using 3 gallon pots with sunshine mix#4. I am growing one Red Dwarf and one Northern Light auto. I germinated using the paper towel method and I planted when the root got to about a 1/2''. I have never had a problem with the paper towel method. On the day of planting I used a 1/2 gallon of water and mixed 1ml of Liquid Karma. The ph of the water was 6.2 and there was no runoff because I did not soak the soil. During this grow any and all advice is welcome critique me as much as possible because I want to learn.



The first plant is the Northern Lights and the second is the Red Dwarf. If there is a better way to upload photos please let me know. Today I will spray a heavy layer of water and Liquid Karma on both plants. I will do this for the first 4 days then I will move up to nutrients.
