Which led should I choose

Postby Mj84 » Mon Oct 29, 2012 8:08 pm

Can't decide between the advanced led 100 w diamond series or the clw 200 w full spec solar
Curious to see the different opinions

Apples to oranges, the CLW light is twice as many watts.

The advanced led 100 w diamond series performs extremely well in cloning, vegetative and flowering cycles. The Solar Flare 200w LED Grow Light balances between having high quality LEDs with strong intensity at an inexpensive price relative to other LED grow lights on the market. I think that’s the difference.

I wouldn't use a 100w light for clones let alone vegging or flowering.

YMMV...

Because...
1) My cloner is larger than a 100w LED light will cover.
2) LED is too expensive for clones.
3) 100w wouldn't yield enough, even if it could cover enough area.
4) I have bigger bulbs in my table lamps on my nightstands.

:D

I would recommend a LED panel with maximum power for lowest price and best warranty.

Full red and blue spectrums for vegatative growth and flowering growth technology has arrived. It's just finding the shop with the best price, and best warranty. Keeping in mind that for LED use, you want approximately 35 watts per square foot.

I know of one maker that has discounted prices for growers wishing to enter the LED market, with lifetime warranty, and prices better than SS or CLW or Advance. Their only request is that for the discounted price, you make good grow journals to spread the word about them.

Sounds like a fair deal to me. pm me for info about them if needed.

35w/sqft isn't enough for top shelf results. Compare any journal here where they didn't have enough light and you'll soon learn that results suffer if you skimp on lighting.

As you know, we don't spam/advertise here, even via PM. If you *have* another light and want to start a journal, we welcome that but let's not start PM advertising either.
